Any of the safety mumbo-jumbo that comes with games?

you know the "Only play for an hour, If your epileptic ask your doctor" Stuff?

I know they have to include it for C.Y.A. reasons (Cover Your Ass) but still it's abit excessive to have a printed warning and a in game warning about it.

It's only up on the screen for like 5 seconds, and in ridiculously small print.

"Have you read it?" More like "Can you read it?"

If they do the same thing with games that they are trying to do with cigarettes, then pretty soon we'll be playing games with warning stickers completely covering our controllers.

Based off the title alone: No. I'm illiterate. I use this forum via an interpreter who reads and then writes my responses.

On topic: No.

Metroid Prime 2 had a seizure warning. Considering the game's graphics still look good to this day, I couldn't blame them for putting the warning in.

Assassin's creed multicultural team one is amusing. As is the ones that say 'any reference to persons living or dead is purely coincidental'. In a historical game?

Haha, the old "We're not racists, promise!" screen... It just serves to point it out more if nothing else.
Not only that but no-one is really portrayed as racist, both sides are assassinated equally (okay people stand on street corners shouting nasty things about the other side but I think that's more because THEY'RE AT WAR!)

I remember reading some in Wind Waker. They're plastered all over the wall of that one guy's house.

What I'm curious about is, does Wii Fit have the standard warning saying you should take breaks and stretch after long periods of play.

It would be delightful.
I wouldn't be surprised. After all, Wii Sports has a message that says "You know, you can pause the game and go do something else for a while." Granted, Wii Fit would have a different meaning for "stretching."

Yes. I had to constantly reset so I could write it all out.
I cannot for the life of me remember why I was doing this. I only know that I was.

Guild Wars came up every hour saying "take a break" or something. I wanted it to get more violent at you the more the hours added up. Sadly it didnt. Boring game....

I've read them. Then laughed my ass off when I realised what they were trying to get me to do.
Take a 15 minute break every hour to avoid eye strain? I don't think so...

Yeah, I've skimmed through it, never really given it any attention to it though. As HardRockSamurai said it's on the screen for 5 seconds and it very small print, a lot of it's very inconvenient for me as well because I hate playing when I'm to far away from the screen so I can't sit 'as far away as the controller will allow'.

On a side note.

In the stronghold games, your advisor reminds you that maybe you'd like to take a break when you've been playing for a long time. Not in writing, he says it to you. Something like "Maybe you'd like a snack my lord." or "Perhaps you should take a break my liege."
