Twice in Marvel VS Capcom 3 I have beaten people who were better than me while they have full teams of characters they play as and I had 1 character left who I have only played as once at most. That is pretty much it.

Realising that my frenzied activity in Bad Company 2 had netted my 11 kills and no deaths in like 4-5 minutes. Or realising that I've gotten the Ace pin in BC2. Basically recon with the T88 sniper rifle, M1911 and C4 or engineer with the MCS shotty (no slugs), M1911 and Carl Gustav (with extra explosive ammo :D).

In fact anything with the M1911, that thing is ridiculous.

As a matter of fact, shotguns in general in most games. What's that guy with the assault rifle? Snuck up behind me and started shooting point blank? Well guess what, I can do a 180 degree turn an take a snap shot and get away alive.

One time I accidently shot a space marine. :O
He died. O.O
Nobody cared. o_O
So I shot another one. o.o
Well, thank for that unique and completely memorable experience. Now GTFO.
Was that kind of response really necessary?

OT: Get three nukes in a row on MW2 certainly counts.

Remember the spinning column of blades in the first God of War. I spent HOURS trying to climb up, and died every time. I turned the game off for the night after nearly snapping my controller.

I woke up the next morning, turned the game on, and climbed them all flawlessly on my first try.
Haha, that happens to me sometimes too. I think sometimes taking a break and refreshing yourself goes a long way towards how well you play. I remember I was playing the first Portal once, and after a few hours I hit a wall where I couldn't figure out what I was supposed to do. I went to get something to eat and came back to it after about 3 hours of just lounging around watching TV, and solved it almost immediately. I felt smart for beating the room, and stupid for not having solved it earlier, at the same time.

On topic: I got through Demon Souls a lot faster then most people I know. Not that it was an easy game and I didn't die my fair share of times, but after everyone I know who's played it built up how murderous it was, I fared at lot better than I thought I would. Also, I beat Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 and only died once. But I think that only surprised me because I swear they REALLY lowered the difficulty from the Xbox 360 version to the PS3 version. I died a good couple of times playing through the 360 version on the default normal difficulty, and had zero problem with the default while playing Sigma 2. In fact, the death I suffered was only because I screwed up a jump and fell to my death.

I enjoyed Dante's Inferno. A lot. I really wanted to hate it, but I loved every minute of it.

Gameplay wise, I guess I would say I just said "fuck it" when facing the Elite Four in Pokemon Ruby. I could have raised my Pokemon to a reasonable level, but I didn't want to wait that long.
