Metal Gear Solid 4 online. I was good at the single player in the sense that I could mow down anyone really easily even on the harder difficulties and never cared for stealth. I tried to take those skills online and I did okay I guess. But then I got into the not novice channel and I got my ass owned.

I could probably say the same thing about the Call of Duty single player games. I do great in single player then when i make the jump to multi-player it takes a few days for me to get any kills

My first ever play on MW2 was on Rust and someone was running the unlimited ammo hack. Not the best learning experience.

Back in Yesteryear when Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2 was popular I was pretty good against the computer, never lost a match against my brother and was a reasonable opponent to my friends in LAN games.

One day I decide to go online, I start building up my base, put down a couple of defenses, and 30 seconds later a column of approximatly a million tanks steamrolls through my buildings and anihilates me.

I stuck with friends and computer opponents after that.

Almost every game I play online. In Halo:reach or Black Ops I can do fairly decent, but nowhere near as good as I can play offline.
