Shitty games are easy to get rid of. just sell them back within the first couple weeks of release, you'll probably get 30 or 35& for it, and minimize your total losses.

As a Matrix Fan you need to play it for story alone. And the gameplay wasn't terrible it just wasn't great. I've played a lot worse.

Actually, I generally try before I buy, ie- borrowing from a friend or demos. I am very picky about shelling out cash for a game, especially if it's over the $50 mark. Even if I love the game I usually wait until I can get it for under $30, but I am just a cheap bastard so whatever.
There are a few exceptions to the rule however. Starcraft 2 can take my first born for all I care just gimme that game already!
