So I found this video and felt like sharing.

Also, the guys who did this just finished a successful kickstarter campaign where they're trying to create a short series.

So that's now a thing.

This is a really cool and entertaining video, but I can't exactly see it as a short series. I don't see where they can go with episodes unless it follows the two new kids journey more closely and shows each adventure they have. I feel like a series where all the episodes are two new people on the same journey will get stale very quickly.

Apparently they have some ideas about the world that the video takes place in. Other than that I don't know if it's gonna be an extended version of the trip that these guys are taking in the video, a continuation of the story after they've discovered that they're now heroes or if it's gonna be about them at all.

On one hand, I think a short series of videos fleshing out the characters would be AWESOME. On the other hand, giving the characters more than just their simplistic slapstick archetypes might ruin that very awesome short.

I guess time will show which it is, but still, super awesome find!

Honestly I think it's enough with this video. Making a whole series would probably take the charm out of it.

Yeah, I posted this a few months back on this forum but no one really paid it any attention. Glad to see others are enjoying it more and more.

Wow, I really enjoyed that short. For the new series it would be cool if they retold their story but more in depth. Not sure id want to watch it if it was the two kids in at the end of the short.

I pledged to the Kickstarter, and on there they mentioned the next episode will be about the dead guy behind the mirror with all the treasure, with the episode after focusing on the heroes from the first episode again.

I was a bit apprehensive so I didn't pledge much, but I'm hopeful they'll be able to make some more stuff as good as the original.

I could see this going for a good, solid, three or four seasons, honestly.

If every season, the reward was the same, but the journey was different every single time, I could see this being a sort of fun show to watch. It might have a quiet episode every now and then, but I don't think it would be too bad, really.

Looks like a lot of fun, and it put a smile on my face.
