I don't find stalkers creepy, so this doesn't creep me out, however, yeah it's pretty clear that he's got problems.

I was hoping for something scary... oh well.

What I do find strange, however, is the fact that this human being sounds more like a robot than anything else. Also, I've always disliked how impersonal the whole "dating" thing is. I much prefer hanging around with my lady, as opposed to making the whole thing a process.

One more thing... what was the point of this?

No, I don't find it that creepy, although that guy just made a thesis out of a date so... good for him I guess.

Sure I love creepy stuff. We watched Psycho today in english, so let's see...

That's not back. I main line creeper things than that. I'm pretty sure I've sent a similar email at one point, just not at essay length.

Its still pretty interesting, though. And I hadn't met my cynisism limit today, so thanks.

And "harassing" the guy over the internet will prevent him from sexually assaulting someone because? At best the guy's illness could be exacerbated to the point of breakdown and at worst he might go out and rape somebody.

If you read the original transcript over on Reddit, they're not even using his real name (or "Lauren's" real name for that matter). She also doesn't work with him, so it's not likely to affect his work in any way. If he sees it, well, burn.. it's not like the internet is going to remember in a week.

Being a dick to other people isn't an "illness", it can occasionally be a symptom of an illness but none of us know enough to judge. I don't like pathologizing people for no good reason, I find that almost more offensive than just laughing at them because it belittles and stereotypes people with actual diagnosed psychiatric disorders or learning difficulties.

Not everyone who does something stupid has undiagnosed autism or a personality disorder, sometimes people just never learned how to behave. Heck, even people with autism can generally learn how to behave, but that means not indulging them all the time.

This is clearly unacceptable. We can all see that, therefore humour.

We teach men in our society that women owe them things - that if they do x, y and z, women are bound to respond to them. Some creeps and idiots are always going to take this sense of entitlement to the extreme.

Besides, she might well have had a nice date - hence the hair touching and eye contact - but then when she got home did a bit of that google searching he recommends so frequently...

I've had my daily dose of creepy today. One of my friends forcefully jugged me and wouldn't let me escape. That was a pretty scary experience, especially seeing as the guy is pretty big and I'm pretty small.

By the way, you have the single best avatar I've seen on the escapist so far, purely by nature of the fact that it's a pulp fiction picture.
