If I find a long sleeve white shirt, a fake gun and a holster, I'd look just like Nathan Drake.

short and sweet.I have.just made a homemade S.T.A.L.K.E.R. costume with a real gas mask from WWII
You have sparked my imagination. Here's my plan for the next two hours.

1.Go get my old gas mask.
2.Go paint my airsoft AK47's barrel black.
3.Go buy a brown hoodie, then rip it up and burn parts of it.
4.Put on tan BDU pants.
5.???
6.Profit!

Sound good?

On a side note, anyone know where I can find 1920X1018 STALKER wallpaper?

I went as adult link once. It was actually pretty hard making that stuff from cardboard and green cloth from walmart. But it totally kicked ass.

....except for the white stockings part that everyone forgets

I went as Kairi from Kingdom Hearts II and bought everything. I didn't buy anything from a cosplay site.

I'm going out tonight as Jack from Bioshock, with an actual sweater from the 50's, and a homemade antique pipe wrench.

I dressed up as Cole MacGrath from inFamous last year and for a party on Friday. I couldn't, however, find a yellow jacket similar to his so I had to wear a blue one which took a bit away from the authenticity. I thought I was able to nail the look other than that. I'm also thinking of dressing up as Frank Woods from Black Ops next year.

Well...kinda, my mom made me an Ash Ketchum outfit when I was younger, complete with pokeballs, fingerless gloves (they were fingerless right? if not just gloves then), and awesome hat.

Oh yeah, I was stylin'.

Ohhh, you're that jerk that "just wanted to talk to someone", then dropped on me from 15 feet and beat me up with hooks. :)

Yeah last year for New Years I made an Altair costume. It didn't quite work as I had about three hours to work on it and the sword I borrowed from a friend was WAY too big, but my eternal kudos goes to my friend who sewed the cowl for me, the thing was damn near perfect, seam and everything! I'm thinking of doing Naked Snake this year, including cardboard box.

I went as Pac-man to my Muck Up Day this year. Three of my friends dressed as different coloured ghosts.

And people threw white ping pong balls in my mouth. That was annoying.
