I have not met mine either. I saw him on a beer commercial up here in Canada like 11 years ago. It was trippy as hell. Going to the bars back then was awesome, chicks asking if it's me....and YES it was for those nights.

No doppleganger, but I've always wanted to meet a clone of myself! We would chat for hours about the meaning of life, human psychology, atheism, politics and stuff. :3
...I doubt you would. I mean, he is you, you have the exact same thoughts on every subject, so every conversation would end after the opening statement by the other you saying, "I agree completely," also, I think that anyone else listening would want to kill two of you person for agreeing so damn much.

OT: No, because I think that if I did see my doppleganger, I probably wouldn't say a damn thing to him. I'm just the silent type.
We would see each other, nod our heads and move on with our days.

There's a kid a couple of grades behind me who has the same hair as me (genetically induced afro), the same talents, and a couple of the same facial features. The scariest part is that we have the same last name. Several of my teachers were convinced he was my little brother for months.

I know its not the same thing, but Me and my twin brother look REALLY similar, like a female/male version of each other

EDIT: actually I now look REALLY similar to my cousin of similar age, especially when we are both wearing our hair out, my 5 year old cousin was getting us mixed up, and my 3 year old cousin was calling me her name just to annoy me

At my high school, I met this one student who looked exactly like me, but opposite gendered.
We were both amused at the thought of someone else looking so similar, but our personalities did not match at all, and we went separate ways.

I believe the article is wrong. And if I had to choose, I would probably just spar with him.

We humans are always evolving psychologically. From the moment he is brought into existence, every new thought he thinks is his own and the same applies to me. He might realize something before I do and vice versa.

I've seen many potential doppelgangers. Many! Ever since I've moved I've also noticed archetypal doppelgangers or rather, people who have personalities and, general appearances of people who I knew in Maryland. It's weird as hell but kind of cool too.

I've never met a doppleganger of anyone. Kind of makes me sad, because I'd love to meet my own doppleganger, just for the shenanigans that could ensue if we became friends.

Twice, two different people, eight years apart, and you know what that means? There's fucking three of me! I'm really, really scared.

No.

Though, strangely enough, I kept getting confused for a half-Arab girl (I am as white as can be) who had different hair, skin and eye color, different body language, different body type, and a name that could not easily be confused for my own. This went on all through middle school.

I mean, her own mother even confused me for her. It went on for over a minute, though I had my back to her.

No but apparently my friends from High School (now my ex) did when was in High School. I was too ill to make the trip to Alton Tower (a British theme park) so they went without me.
When they came back they said they saw another guy like me over there (I doubt it was a proper doppleganger) and they were calling him my me through out the trip (I may not have met him but I feel sorry that he had to put up with their annoyness).

I haven't personally met my doppelganger, but a friend of mine has...

She was at some Uni open day and there he was, looking just like me.

Ladies, look at me. Now look at my doppelganger, now back to me, back to my doppelganger, now back to me! Fortunately, he is me!

The closest I met was on gameFAQs. my username there Orange_Apples, but there is another user by the name of orangeapples. This wouldn't be too bad if we both didn't play Kingdom Hearts and Pokemon. And yes, orangeapples is my doppleganger because I made my GFAQs account 2 weeks before that one did.

boy were some of those topics confusing. Sometimes we wouldn't notice the other one was in and both post in a topic, and then when someone would talk to one of us (the quote button has fixed this a LOT) they'd call us oranges and quote something. then the other would reply along the lines of, "I never said that" then we'd realize that we're both in the same topic.

We only see each other occasionally, but it is always fun.

IRL I never actually met my doppleganger but at my college I worked in the food court for a few years and after my shift I'd go to class. I'm guessing he's 2 years younger than me because in my third year there when I went in to work one of my co-workers (who was working the previous night) was furious with me. She was mad because when my other came in to eat he ordered food and didn't even say hi to her. It wasn't just her, the whole team working the night shift thought it was me. The craziest part was that he ordered food meaning that he spoke and they still thought it was me. They even knew that I had class at the time the guy was eating.

There was a good 2 weeks where they were convinced I was pretending to be another person or cutting class.

how funny would it be if his username on GameFAQs was orangeapples?

I kinda wish I met him...
