I've successfully boycotted Brussels sprouts and asparagus. Take that, Brussels.

I've been boycotting McDonald's for years. I use to work there when I was younger and due to a combination of knowing what goes on behind the scenes, the actual food, and how my treatment by some of the managers (primarily the store manager that took over after the original one went to open a new store) I have decided never to eat there again. It's been roughly 8 years and I've been quite successful at my personal boycott.

I have personally NEVER bought a CoD game. I have played pretty much every iteration from CoD 4 and technically owned every one besides WaW because of my brothers. So TECHNICALLY yes I have successfully boycotted CoD.

Yep, and it's even on-topic.

EA has not seen a dime of my money since the original Mass Effect (which was before I started). It hurt not being able to play the new Alice, but them's the breaks.

I actually haven't boycotted anything and i don't ever plan to because whenever something gets boycotted it causes people to become curious and seek it out.

edit: sorry i thought you meant protest boycotting. Yeah i've boycotted Wal-mart for several months now and MacDonalds for 3 years now and haven't went back to them once since. p.s. Wal-mart treats the employees who actually do work very horribly but lazy useless employees are treated very well.

After finding out about how Target and Chick-fil-a have funded anti-LGBT political candidates and organizations I have refused to shop at them again. And I have yet felt any desire to break that boycott.

I've successfully boycotted McDonalds for what must be ten years or more now, for a range of health, "I think they're evil" and "There's no valid reason for eating there, ever" reasons.

I dunno if it counts if you're just not interested in the products or services they offer (and also are against their business practices or exploitative advertising strategies)... if it still counts, though... McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's, KFC, Popeye's... most fast food, really. Also, big chain movie theaters, generally run by Regal Cinemas around here. Haven't gone to any of the above in years... though again, I haven't wanted to.

Yes, I don't eat beef or pork and haven't for the past 3 & 1/2 years. About a year ago I also started boycotting Chick-fil-A because of their support for anti-gay politicians.

Huzzah for being a hippy!

I'm sorry, but it's just to darned tasty for me not to each there.

OT: I've never yet bought a game from THQ, and I likely won't.

I know, it's been quite difficult for me. But I really can't support those who discriminate against others, even indirectly.

Well, they also give free food to a church group I got to every year, so I find that hard to hold against them. And, without wishing to turn this into a R&P board, I've not quite decided how I feel about LGBT activism. That, and I really like their sandwiches.

As a self-serving bastard, no, I have not boycotted anything if it had something I wanted, save for Nike, because they've never had anything I wanted (and suck).
