I tend to walk very quietly around the house (unintentionally).. so yeah, quite often.

That's pretty much what I do much of the time.

However, I scared my folks when I died and the medical staff when I revived...(!) Yes, I wish I was kidding...

Nothing special... Dude, I'm having difficulty deciding if that was priceless or a dick move.
It's a bit of both to be perfectly honest. I can't help but laugh at the story, but I know I'm going to hell for that.

OT: I don't really scare people, as I've never really felt the need, but I do have a tendency to intimidate people from time to time. It's a natural side effect of being 6'8" and a beefy ************.

I've worked in quite a few haunted house's in my day, so yeah I've scared people before and I've even made a profit out of it ^_^.

Yes, yes I have. My favorite one is similar to the OP.

My sister and her friends were watching The Grudge late at night. (Minor movie spoilers if anyone cares) They were all on the floor under this big blanket huddled up together during the film. I came out of my room to get a drink and noticed they didn't see me. So I crept up behind them and waited there thinking of what to do. The film was at the part where the blond woman is crying in her bed, and the grudge lady/thing/person sucks her into the bed. As soon as she killed the blond, I grabbed the feet of one of my sister's friends and pulled her back as hard as I could.

She screamed like hell, from the perspective of everyone else she got sucked into the blanket. They screamed, jumped up and started pelting me with bottles since I was laughing too hard to get away.
this was genius my friend haha

My friend was playing Amnesia while I was playing my DS, and when the first monster showed up and he started shitting his pants, I crept up behind him and stood there for a while, until I breathed down his neck... And he punched me.

Not too clever.

YES! XD I had some chunky bubble wrap and was bored to tears at work so I snuck up behind the manager of the residential home day centre and popped one... then quickly ran off. I joked the head chef dared me to do it and I'm just doing what I'm told : P

Back when I used to do Tai Chi, there was a woman there who would jump if I snuck up behind her and waited for her to notice me. First time was an accident, but she really did jump, so week after week I kept doing it until she got used enough to it to stop reacting like that.

Thw only times I had scare someone is when I enter a room and they didn't know I was there (had his or her back doing work or playing their game). So when he or she turn around he or she will be suprise (this is not intentional).

this all happened about 2 hours ago, but my sister and her friends (they are around 14, i'm 18) were watching some scary film, insidious i think, and anyway, i knew they were scared because my sister text me when i was in my room saying she was shitting herself eetc

i took this as a chance to have some fun, so i put on my scream mask, black hoody and some black trousers, i went downstairs quietly and got a big knife, i went to the front window and started tapping on it and then hiding when they looked out, then i started standing at the back window in the dark to try and get one of them to see me, one of them did and she screamed and told all of them, but when she had told them i had moved just behind the door of the room they were in.

they were asking my sister where my parents were and if they should call someone as they were shitting themselves, i took this opportunity to burst in screaming and flailing around

my sister peed a little bit, two of her friends screamed, one went home as she was so scared lol

i know it's nothing special but it made me laugh so hard

so i wanna know, have you ever scared someone like this?
As someone who also has a younger sister that I use to scare, all I can do is:

OT: I haven't done anything major lately, but when I was young (Like 7) I more or less, traumatized my little sister with a plastic spider toy.

Nowadays I just clap really loud behind her back when she's watching TV.

I'm the same, to the point my house mates considered putting a bell around my neck to avoid that.

My brother thought I was a burglar because I came home after a game of football with some friends. He didn't hear me until I went into my room, and then he burst in armed with a dumbell. He scared me almost as much as I scared him.

I sneak up on people without even noticing sometimes. I just walk up to say hi and they're all "Where did you come from?!". however when i try to scare people it never works.

Not seeing how this was exactly mean, it's a good scare. The girls are 14! I'm pretty sure they are old enough to handle a good scare. It's not like he actually attacked them.

My family is not the scaring type of people, but i do remember i was watching "Ghost Ship" with my sister, brother, and a friend named Sarah who is i think at least 5 years older than me. During the middle of the movie, my sister walks out of the room. 2 minutes later, she walks in holding a big kitchen knife, and Sarah starts screaming.

That was about it, nothing big.

I scare people like almost every night shift I do.
Especially when I have to wake them up for medication of blood pressure checks XD
Most of the time I jump up as well at the reaction of them waking up <_<

Um...no. I might have stood behind doors being opened and gone "boo", but dressing up like a movie serial killer to scare little girls? That's crossing the line, IMHO.
I think the fact she went home made it crossing the line. It was all pretty funny and I myself LOVE a good scare, I'm not offended if someone scares me because it's all in lighthearted fun. But you shouldn't scare someone so bad to where they have to go home. Anyways I still thought it was pretty funny :p
