All the guys who said TV Tropes are absolutely right, that site will take up massive amounts of time, and don't forget the anime series it will introduce you to (it's how I became a Nanoha fan).

Oh, and Wikipedia was the precursor to TV Tropes for me in that regard. Thanks to it I have a large reservoir of useless knowledge.

Yes,yes i did. TV Tropes is probably most powerful time sink in the entire universe.

On the other hand,it can be useful - Tropes Are Tools,and it's always good to know what you can use.

Been up for hours and hours past sensible sleeping hours looking at fascinating information on Wikipedia, when it's not vandalised.

Yes, I do get stuck clicking through links for hours at a time. No, it's not very good for me. It does expand my knowledge a bit, but it's not particularly useful.
