Have your games ever been robbed?

No, or not yet. I actually still feel guilty because I borrowed Mario Kart 64 from a friend, and he moved away a few months later, so I never got to give it back. Still play it every now and then.

Also:

I've had Pokemon yellow and blue stolen.

Yes! Someone else played the Yellow version! But it was stolen, so NOOOO!!!!

In all honestly, have I been robbed? Hmm... not to my knowledge, although I have inadvertently robbed my neighbour. My neighbour leant me one of his two copies of Tony Hawks 4 for the PS2 back in the day, they moved away before I clicked that I still had it. Evidently they saw one copy and forgot that they actually owned two so didn't ask for it back.

Sort of. Once I let my sister borrow some of my Dreamcast stuff and bring it over to a friend's place. I never saw either my controllers, my memory cards, Power Stone, or Sonic Adventure 1 ever again.

Nah, I don't have a lot of friends, but they're good ones, so whenever I would let somebody try a game or something, I always was able to get them back.

We had our house robbed a while ago. The people took the PS2, a whole bunch of DVDs and all my games. Luckily we had contents insurance, so we got it all back. That was not a good week, but when we got the replacements it was like Christmas. The insurance company didn't really care whether or not the games we got given were the same as the ones stolen, so we got about 12 new PS2 games at one time.

If you been burgled have they taken your games? Once my freinds PS2 got stolen and it had my GTA LS and memory card.

Did you mean have my games ever been stolen? Or has anyone robbed me of my videogames? Because no one has stolen anything from my games.

Grammar nazi aside, yes. I have had former friends or their siblings lift a game or two and sell it. That's where my orig copy of SSB went, as well as about 10 other games.
Then there's the $400 worth of games and an original Xbox that one of my college associates took home and, according to another who has known the man longer, sold them all for drugs

I had my laptop stolen by some yobs while I was out of my house. They smashed a window and raided my room and then they also played on my xbox360 (in a different room). Now they were not clever because my laptop (which was the only item stolen) was old and probably only worth about £30-£50. However the Xbox360 was brand new elite version which would be worth somewhere in the hundreds. Not to mention the 14 games that were on the shelf, most of which are also very new. And the 2 computers and a Mac which combine together to be worth about £2500. They were all in the same room with the thieves.

I feel bad they stole my laptop but I got a brand new one but I still have to pay for it.

OT: No, I have never had my games stolen, but I have been burgled. It wasn't a pleasant experience, and we never caught the people who did it. I'll put that down to shit policing and a terrible judiciary system.

When I was at uni around 2000, thieves broke in when we were away on Christmas break. They stole only two things: a ten-pound note someone left lying around and my copy of Final Fantasy VII (I think it was VII). It was a blessing in diguise: I hardly ever played FF games again after that, which I thank the thieves heartily for.

Although I have had things stolen off me in games - I know the blood dragon armour was free, but if I find Alastair in Dragon Age:Origins:Awakenings:Too many colons, we're going to have words about what it is and isn't acceptable to forget to give back when you leave the party!

I borrowed IGI 2 and Tropico to a friend many years ago. Some weeks later a burglar broke in and stole some of his stuff, including those 2 games. Luckily, he got the money back through insurance, and gave me the money to buy IGI 2. And later on sent me Tropico which he had bought off eBay.
