Ever seen a game whose selling point has been done before, and better? Tell me about it.

In my case, it's Wet. Rubi's whole special thing is shooting one guy manually while auto-aiming at another. Well, I've got news Artificial Mind and Movement, you got beat by Lucas Arts. Specifically, by Star Wars: Bounty Hunter; in which you run around the galaxy as Jango Fett and kill anything that looks at you funny. Jango's signature weapons are his dual blaster pistols, with which he can aim at one guy, and auto-aim at another. The major differences being that Jango has lock-on targeting, and he can do this trick without having to do crazy acrobatics at the same time.

Given that it's Lucas Arts doing this, it was probably done somewhere else first, but I haven't seen it.

Every Ratchet and Clank game, which holds no ground compared to the Jak and Daxter series

Do I have to point out that the Wii and the Eye Toy have virtually nothing in common.

my favorite game ever: Jak 2

my second favorite game ever: Ratchet and Clank

I think there's room for both.

These are similar games for sure, but what is so inferior in this comparison about Ratchet and Clank?

I honestly feel this way for all FPS's, aren't there enough of them out there? In my opinion there really is well over enough. I don't mind playing them, it's just... there's so much of them out already and it seems like they're just pouring out endlessly.

Oh I don't know, waving your arms around in front of a screen is the basic principle behind both of them.
And most of their games all rely heavily on waggle.
Except that you're essentially suggesting that your TV remote is the same as your webcam, when you know they are two completely different things.

They are both gimmicks that grew old, quick. [Though the eye toy kicked ass. Major Ass.] And they both require physical interaction. : )

The method of input is the same.
A story is a story whether it's told through a book or a television.
[sub]That's probably a really bad analogy.[/sub]
If we're going to stretch this line of logic out even more, you might as well just say that the Eye Toy was a rip-off of video cameras. And every FPS is a rip off of Doom. Or Blake Stone. Whichever you want to harken back to. I prefer Blake.

I disagree. There was a game I used to play in which you could steal cars and kill people and that was long before the top down GTA came out.
