Having trouble finding a new way to waste time.

So, here's the deal; in EverQuest, I played a Cleric. In Final Fantasy XI I played a White Mage. In World of Warcraft I played a Priest. In Age of Conan, I played a Priest of Mitra. Then I went back to World of Warcraft and played a Paladin for a short while before going back to my Priest.

I love playing a healer. I don't want to be able to deal massive amounts of AoE damage or dish out plenty of hurt from a distance, and I definitely do not want to rip my enemies to shreds up close. I want to heal.

Okay, maybe I can buff and resurrect once in a while, if you insist.

Now, my conundrum is this : I've gotten bored with World of Warcraft, and let my subscription expire. And now I have so much free time I watched Guiding Light (okay, just the one episode, and I hated it and installed the original Unreal Tournament to pass time, but still).

Anyways, I believe I've found the solution to my problem ; Another MMORPG! But, alas, I can't find an MMO with a healing class. Age of Conan doesn't have any healing classes (it has hybrid classes that can heal) W:AR has pretty much the same problem (at least in relevance to my problem - I mean, seriously, a warrior priest?!)

I could go on. But I ask you, fellow Escapists, to recommend an MMOG where I can play a dedicated healing class, be it as a technomancer, theurgist, thaumaturge, priest, steamdriven nurse, medic or what have you.

PS.: Sorry if the post is disorganized, I'm a little tired (it's morning here).

Go to med school, or become a paramedic or do volunteer work for docters without borders or something. You can be a healer IRL then.

If you're interrested in other addictive genres, Heroes of newerth has some support heroes which can heal.

Guild Wars - Monk

If you do play GW though, stay away from the EU servers because they are dead as of late (R.I.P) which does mean you have to put up with the Americans

MapleStory is a pretty fun game, and the Priests/Clerics in that are pretty helpful. Actually, just about all of the classes are helpful. They all have party buffs and stuff, so you don't have to be a healer to help buff up your party.

Last Chaos, hurr. Even though they can fend for themselves and they slaughter everything up in the levels.

Tried EvE, didn't like it that much =/ (kind of ironic since I'm from Iceland and I know some guys that work over at CCP and stuff xP)

Not really very interested in that as a career, but I see where you're going with it. =P
And I find DoTA and HoN to be rather boring, not sure why, exactly.

Hmmm... interesting, and I might be able to weasel my way into the N-American version for free.

I'm not sure if Guild Wars was ever released in my country, but I have heard of it and considered it.

If you liked FF11 I guess you can wait for 14 to come out, hopefully before the end of the year. That's what I'm doing.

Being a Monk in Guild Wars was pretty fun, especially being able to just stand there while a warrior repeatedly hits you to no avail and then you just run away and lead him into the rest of your team.

A monk can be offensive, one of the skill trees being smiting prayers but it does really well just healing/resurrecting/protecting/etc.

If you're interested, here's a link http://maplestory.nexon.net/WZ.ASPX?PART=/Main .
It doesn't have the greatest graphics, and it's design may be a bit of a turn-off, but it's quite fun.
Also, ignore the ad at the beginning.

Fat princess. You will be the best friend of many. Especially if you actually come on raids and help win instead of just heal the people endlessly fighting in the middle.
