In a previous thread we where discussing games such as DOA and whether sexualized games are viable, one of the major talking points was that gameplay is still a major factor, I feel that this is a given for any game regardless of tone. From Fallouts brown, toxic, crumbling wasteland to Skyrims fantasy these are the bells and whistles to the meat and potato's that is the gameplay.

Apparently this indie game has decent gameplay, the demo is out for it if you want to give a whirl, camera seems a bit off but some may appreciate that.

Edit: seems to be a lot of comments going on about porn. I get that many of you enjoy subtlety but don't seem to understand it.

Yes this is a lot less subtle than say Lara Croft but it's far more subtle than straight up sex, different levels folks.

Or to use language many of you would be familiar with it's like the difference between an ecchi and a hentai.

I think it's an asthetic upgrade, you have an extreme aversion to it, funny the way taste works like that.

Don't know if it's good, not even finished yet, liked the concept, I'm betting others will as well, regardless point is that it's a combination of gameplay and design (see Skyrim with some of the most popular mods around for sexy that's good or Dragons Crown) that come together.

This game immediately makes no sense to me because it isn't a sex simulator. That robot... android... whatever, is built way too well for this to be its purpose. The breasts jiggle dammit!

I'm not one to judge ones boner material (If the Apple/Portal aesthetic is your thing, go for it), I just object to this game being brought up in the context of 'Good game AND sexy' when the video/demo in question is 10% shooting, 5% doing vague 'puzzle thingies,' and 85% zooming in on... well, you know.

Edit: and now I think I can expand on this a little. Part of the reason fan service games/mods work is that the player has a connection to the characters. (Often pre-existing.) With this, well they are wearing a helmet, or they have no face.. not really sure which but the result is about the same. There is no connection here.

Are you kidding me? I find nothing titillating about this at all. It's more funny than anything else. The design is just so over the top, and at the same time totally desexualized thanks to the bare bones graphics and sterile hospital environments.

There has got to be a better way to give me a boner AND satisfying gameplay.

RE4 over shoulder, a serious boner for Portal style aesthetics, and the cybernetic version of Sir Mix A Lot's waifu.

Is the purpose of this thread to bring up an example of an even balance between sexualization and good gameplay? 'cause all I'm seeing here is like 5% gameplay and 95% tight camera angles.
