I've been playing a lot of games where you can choose your gender, that's generally my favourite type. Played many hours on Stardew Valley but then I totally fucked up my save and I so do not have the energy to start again right now. I'm still mad at myself.

I came across this a few days ago. I played the demo, can't say I'm a fan. I didn't get very far and didn't see any combat. Did a bit of very clunky platforming which wasn't fun at all. Maybe it would've been easier with a controller. None of the so called puzzles I came across where at all interesting.

As for the aesthetics, well it looks like Portal but not as good. I actually don't mind the design of the protagonist although I wouldn't say I find her sexy.

It's only a demo so who knows how it will actually turn out. Both the gameplay and the aesthetics need work. There's potential for a good game here but I'm not holding my breath.

There was one aspect where what I presume was a fanservicey thing got in the way of gameplay. In most games you'd press a button to jump and grab onto a ledge, then press it again to climb up. In this game you jump and grab on, press the button once to hoist yourself up halfway where the protagonist is completely bent over, then press it again to climb up. It's a minor annoyance but it did leave me rolling my eyes.

It's just some big tittied bimbo violently assaulting you, in the games case, assaulting your eyes.

I think it's an asthetic upgrade, you have an extreme aversion to it, funny the way taste works like that.

Don't know if it's good, not even finished yet, liked the concept, I'm betting others will as well, regardless point is that it's a combination of gameplay and design (see Skyrim with some of the most popular mods around for sexy that's good or Dragons Crown) that come together.

This. It was easy to see what kind of appeal it was going for. Though it's not titilating for me, I do like old classic chainmail bikini artwork as does my wife, so this game was a no brainer. That it was a pretty solid beat em up didn't hurt either.

Maybe I am way too into compartmentalisation and the like but why do you want to put sexy in your games anyway? I've never thought "you know what would make this game better? If I had an erection" or has anybody ever thought "I mean the game is ok but I can only give it a 5/10 'cos it never made me hard!"? or is it just a 'cos of "if you're gunna have a bird in yer game she might as well have a phat ass an a set a jugs 'cos who the fuck wants to see an ugly chick, amiright!?"?

I am not against porn or strippers or prostitutes or even having sexy time in TV, film and games. However, it has to serve the plot and be believable! I think in the vast majority of cases it's badly implemented and put tits in things 'cos who doesn't like tits? However, I think "love and other drugs" is a great example of using nudity and sex (appeal) to drive the story and have believable characters.

But this? This is just "bigger = better" and "portal is my favourite games", so they cranked the sex appeal slider from saints row to 11 and ripped the aesthetic from portal, then dragged all of the protagonists pants, up her ass ... to make it fair, since they covered up the planet sized boobs.

I think it's very weird, ridiculous and I wouldn't play it.

But I think that people should be free to make sexy games if they want to and consumers who want them should be able to buy them. This will likely get targetted by a censorship campaign of some kind.

EDIT: and she's hardly a compelling example of a female protagonist. She has no head and has been reduced to a butt and breasts. This isn't a character at all.

As for the game itself? Look, developers, if you wanted to make a porn parody, f@cking commit to a porn parody and show me some actual nudity. Don't give me this half-assed, softcore controversy magnet that only serves to get people who don't like feminism to buy your game just to spite the people who call it sexist, only to realize too late that it's a mediocre hybrid ripoff of Portal and Tomb Raider. This sh!t is Hatred all over again, a mediocre at best-looking title trying to score free advertising through controversy, except with the most likely broken promise of gratuitous fanservice in place of Hatred's broken promise of gratuitous violence.
