HD Re-release: What game do you want re-released the most?

Everytime this comes up I keep thinking about Dino Crisis! Really loved the games (the thrid was the let donw but still playable). I would also say Eternal Darkness. That way it can bring some vigour back int the franchise and hopefully get a sequel greenlit. Even if it means Silicon Knights wont be making it.

I'd love to see an HD re-release of either the Syphon Filter or Timesplitters HD Collections because I really enjoyed them and they were the first two IP's that I really fell in love with.

HD console (see: no handhelds) releases of Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. Because I never owned an N64, and the only games I would play on my friends' at the time were SSB and Mario Kart.

That being said, I don't own a Wii U and probably never will so unless they'd get Wii ports, I'd be out of luck anyway.

Oh, if you're EXTREMELY lucky, you can find the Ultimate Zelda Collection on the GameCube and just play that on your Wii. Of course, you have to hope someone was foolish enough to sell that to GameStop (where I found mine), or shell out a few bucks for it online. But it does have Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask on it, along with the original Zelda and one other Zelda game (II, I think).

Personally, I would like an HD remake of Final Fantasies VII through X-2, but that won't happen. So, how about we get one of those Kingdom Hearts remakes that Japan always seems to be getting? So not fair. Or the first three Suikoden games. That would work too.

I'm going to say the Star Wars Battlefront series, not so much for the graphical upgrade but so that I could play them online.

Oh so many games. F-Zero GX would be amazing in HD, as would Baten Kaitos Origins. They were two of my favorite games that were both incredibly beautiful on the GameCube and would be astounding in HD.

There are more but those would be my top two choices.

Every time this thread comes up my answer has resolutely been the same.

I want KOTOR/KOTOR 2 redone.

I want them redone on a brand new spanking engine, with tweaked gameplay, glitches cleaned up and most of all, the restored content on KOTOR 2.

I would easily give Bioware my faith and money.

Yeah, that would be awesome. Er, except KotOR 2 was made by Obsidian...

OT: Metal Gear Solid 2. I know there was the HD Collection, but I mean MGS2 remade. All new textures, effects, some of the innovations from MGS3 like CQC, and all the cut content put back in, like Old Boy and Chinaman, the cutscene where Arsenal Gear crashes into Manhattan, and the part where the American flag drapes over Solidus's corpse at the end.

And maybe Peace Walker, too. That game might be incredible on the PSP, but it was not meant for console release, and it painfully shows.

Good shooting, fun weapons. Fun melee combat. Interesting setting and story. One of the best "Oh, you're fucking asshole." moments in gaming.

Also, it happens to be a better Ghost in the Shell than the GiTS games....despite not being a GiTS game.

What you played was a remake of Final Fantasy III for the Famicom. Final Fantasy III on the SNES is the North American release of what is actually Final Fantasy VI. The GBA and PS1 versions correct that.
