Hey guys,
I bought an HDMI splitter (Liwago HDMI Splitter 1x2 3D HighSpeed 1080p)to send my PC's visual signal to both my monitor and my newly-bought 39,5" HD TV (MEDION® P16070 (MD 30830)). The reason I did this is that my PC only has one HDMI port and while I could theoretically only plug in one at a time, I can't really see my TV screen while sitting at the desk and therefore can't see where my mouse cursor is etc, making the process of setting something up to watch on my TV very annoying.
I connected the HDMI port of my PC to the Input port on the splitter and my monitor to port 1, the TV to port 2. The issue I have is the following: The image looks great on the TV, but it flickers and is very blurry on my monitor. I know that an HDMI splitter uses the highest common resolution for both so with different resolutions there could be problems, however both my monitor and the TV use 1080p, so this should not be the issue. Any ideas on how/if I can fix it?
Specs:
Processor: Intel Core i5-3450
Graphics card: Sapphire Radeon HD 7800
RAM: 8GB
Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium
