I always thought that the timing of Captain Jack Harkness and Steve Rogers both serving in WWII and then both being alive in present day, AND both fighting aliens, was too much of a coincidence for them to not have bumped into each other on multiple occasions. Seeing Jack meeting (and hitting on all of) the Avengers would be hilarious.

And yes, he would hit on all of them. Even Hulk. Especially Hulk.

Mass Effect 3: Noone really understands what the crucible is and what it is going to do after it is activated. Surprise: it's a bomb! The whole thing has been a reaper-trick all along, puppeteering their victims into bringing about their own death.

And the plan is working out perfectly. Conveniently, most of the armed forces are right there to defend the crucible from the reapers, when the thing blows up. Current cycle races lose most of their armed forces in one battle. The reapers win again. The next cycle begins.

In my opinion, this is the only logical and consistent ending after everything we have learned about the reapers.
