Its a foreign (Afrikaans) band and they're certainly not the heaviest punk band out there but they've got a song worth mentioning:

That's Shoegazing pretty much...

Most of it is extremely loud, like for example in My Bloody Valentine concerts they give out earplugs to everyone to avoid the crowd getting tinnitus. The style of music is made by heavy reverb, and guitar delay which gives it it's constant droning sound. It's possibly more heavier than most metal is.

Noise Rock, and Noise Pop, the genres Shoegazing originated from also share the similar traits as Shoegazing albeit with less ethereal like vocals.

Seriously, no matter how much I love this music, i wouldn't want to listen to these bands full blast for hours at a time.
Yus... I'll go along with Shoegazing... though I'd like to specifically point out my personal favorite band... and one of the forerunners of Shoegazing are probably one of the heaviest, non metal band, I can think of... seeing as how they're very much noise rock and classic metal inspired... not to mention the fact that they're notorious for being earbleedingly loud... though they did kind of border on Metal a lot of the time...<.<

Also... Big Black...<.<

Noise rock at it's finest...<.<

The Angelic Process. Heavy, overpowering shoegaze/drone.

Love his work!
Favorite Track ^^
Yeah I love that one. If Godspeed is the world after the apocalypse, this is the apocalypse in full action.

You do realise they're reunited, right?

dubstep might be the closest electronic style sticking to the spirit of metal without getting into the ridiculous BPM ramping of oldschool hardcore

neither of those are dubstep tho. well, at a push the second one might just about be considered to have dubstep elements, but the first is pure electro house
