The first time I did it:

So I got a "bad" ending.
Lauren dies in the car, but the shop owner and the construction company owner live.
Jayden didn't find the killer (forgot the petrol station bills at the nightclub).
Madison survives and rings Jayden where Shaun is.
Ethan goes through all the trials successfully.
Ethan saves Shaun, realising the poison is false.
Jayden dives at Shelby just before Shelby shoots Ethan and chases him to the roof where Shelby ends up falling into the machine (is it possible to arrest Shelby alive?).
Madison crashes her bike unable to warn Ethan of the cops.
Ethan gets shot in front of his son by police.
Ethan gets his grave mourned by his son, Grace picks her son up while Madison watches in the distance.
Jayden goes on a talk show, dumps his drug in the toilet and leaves. He then is in his office and ends up having the tank hallucination.
Madison makes a book about the Origami Killer, has to sign a book for someone called Vincent who mentions about wanting to do better than the Origami Killer. When Madison looks up after signing, she can't find "Vincent" anywhere giving strong hits to a sequel. This might be the canon ending.

In other words, the "good" ending.
Ethan Lives, does all but the poison trial and the one where you have to kill the guy. I let him live.
Ethan couldn't find Shaun.

I have finnished the game, no spoilers, my ending has been covered already, but I did not find an explanation about Ethans blackouts and how he always ends up holding an origami figure. anyone care to fill me in. Please.
My first playthrough, I got one of the better endings. Madison and Ethan get together, Shaun is safe, Shelby is dead, Jayden appears to get over his addiction. However, I didn't save Lauren and Jayden was having some hallucinations near the end.
I'm interested in some of the alternatives now, though. Lauren shooting Shelby, for instance; I didn't know that could happen. May have to rent it again some day just to toy around with the story and see what happens.

It would seem the writers couldn't come up with a decent explanation for this and so just didn't bother. Its a pretty big plot hole but I'm wiling to forgive them as the game as a whole was easily one of the best ever. It is suggested that the coma caused by the crash at the start is responsible, however the close ties to the killer is left conveniently unexplained.Rained Out said:

Like the book-signing ending which I could never seem to get a second time. There's also the ending where Shaun is at Ethan's grave crying. His mother goes and collects him. Meanwhile, Shelby watches from behind a tree. I also found Norman dying ending pretty cool.

Wow these are all so different! I was playing with my gf and she ended up getting Jayden killed in the junk yard lol. But otherwise we got the happy ending - Shaun, Ethan and Madison go live together, Shelby's killed and denounced as the killer. I had both Ethan and Madison figure out where Shaun was. Oh yea and I accidentally left Lauren to drown but I guess it's no biggie since Shelby's the big bad murderer.

My biggest beef with the game is that the killer is always the same, which will make future playthroughs a lot less intense, since I already know how it will play out for the most part. I'd say if the Killer could vary, that would have made the experience much more dynamic.

Madison figures out Shelby's idendity but dies in his apartment due to the explosion(which caught me by surprise)
Jayden dies randomly after he figures out that the killer used to be a cop in his office
Ethan completes all the trials, saves Shaun, and spares Shelby after he confeses his motives to him.
The police find Ethan as he was walking out of the warehouse and shoot him about 10 times.
Lauren confronts Shelby at the end and shoots him after finding out who he really was.
The End.

I played the demo and couldn't stand it, two buttons to walk like a 100 year old with a zimmer frame and chronic arthritis, walking knee deep through treacle.
Getting past the dumpster was stupid aswell, hold one button, then two, I missed the third so now I walk back out from behind it and have to start over? Come on!

I had one the best endings possible, I didn't think I'd have it because I failed to find the location. Luckily Madison did in the apartment, so I let her call Ethan once she escaped.
