Base stands up and starts pacing back and forth, he then turns to the police men
"Well looks like your about to learn why the hell hounds are so respected, the hard way. I hope you packed some spare jocks, cause your about to go to hell." he says and leads them out to the firing range
just before leaving he quickly turns and grabs a rocket launcher and four rockets
"Oh by the way Im taking one of these"

ooc : recruitment is by invite only for now. I'll sort through any potential joiners personally.

Chris ordered a crate of armor to be brought to the police. He was going to train them on using Military Grade Marine Corp armor. This could be worth a few laughs.

"Not so fast, Anna. We're supposed to train these wussies, and we sure as hell going to train them enough. Being pessimistic has never helped anyone. And with Hellhounds as their trainer, these guys are gonna be awsome" Hagernand speeches with a proud voice. He was still sitting down in the armory. Poundering on how this was going to be.

Boomer grabbed his kit and set out for the police compound. He was scheduled to train the members in basic and advanced medical care during riot and combat situations. It dawned on him as he walked the quiet streets of the city that for once he wasn't concerned with their current predicament. I mean sure the future looked grim for the Confederates but somehow knowing what was coming in the future made is seem less scary than blindly stumbling onto it.

He, for the first time in a long time smiled to himself and whistled a soft tune as he approached the recruits.

"All right gentleman, the doctor is in the house" he began with a smile.

Marcus had slipped on his armor and went to gather his weapons from the Armory. It was then when he noticed that the new recruits were still there talking.

"What are you two still doing here?" he asked as he holstered his weapons. "You have your orders from the Commander, get to it!" he turned to walk off but he suddenly paused. "You are both sharpshooters right?. Meet me at the firing range in 10 minutes. Perhaps we can have some fun while training the local police". He added with a sly grin.

"But whoah! Hold on for a second there. It's in the middle of the night. You expect us to start working in the middle of the night? ANd besides. Whoever wants to start their training in the middle of the night? I mean they're probaly more recipent to the training if they'd have a good nights sleep first .."

But still not dissobeying orders, Hagernand started slowly walking towards teh door to start gearing up. But to be able to recieve the answer he was walking slowly

"The new guys right, we should start early tommorow morning, send them all to me outside the ship at the crack of dawn so we can get this train wreak moving"

walking outside with the group he sets up some cast iron plating he found in the maintanace bay. Walking back he turns to the group he has and asks
"So boys you are gunna be attacked by the zerg, hopfully not for long but yes its gunna happen. So tell me what ya gunna need first?"
"Umm guns" says one of the police men
"Correct"
"But sir we already have guns" one man says pulling out his glock.
"Ah the glock, I reammeber this old thing." he says then spins around and shooting it at the iron sheet, not damaging it at all
"you see police man, zerg skin is as think as metal, and as such this little pea shooter wont even scratch em"

Base walks back into the ship and comes out with a crate of hellhound ammo. loading one clip into the gun he fires into the sheet of metal, it goes though leaving huge holes in it
"To touch a zerg you must use AP shots, but the problem there lies is"
he put the gun to the sky and fires a few more round but the gun jams after the first two
"the glock was made before these rounds were and is not ment for it, so your gunna need these"

Base goes back in and returns with pistols and rifles for the group.
"hell hound offical side arm Hizener 12.5mm and offical hell hound high powered semi automatic rifle Bruast 50mm, Dont worry we get them a dime a dozen so every one will get one of each as well as enough ammo to push you though the possible attack"

"Now spilt up into 3 groups. Group A head over to Boomer, Hes the guys with the medic sign on his suit. Group B over with Marcus the guy with the rifle and the two people beside him and Group C with me." He boasts orders to the police men, He knows he has no authority over Marcus or Boomer but he does have it over the rag tag group of police men

"We have 1 week to turn you worthless magots into trained men ready to fight off what ever comes. Now lets go!"

This conversation happens still at night

"Since when has the darkness stopped a Hellhound Sharpshooter from doing his or her job?" he snapped suddenly spinning around to look at Hagernand and Anna. His voice carried over the wind and broke the silence around the squad. Marcus shut his eye, "I am sorry" he whispered. "We have a week to train these people what normally take a year for the best to even master. We don't even know if we can train them in the daytime without any distractions from civilian riots" he paused to pull out and light a cigar. "I am just a tad on edge" he said after a long drag on the cigar.

After some thought he finally sighed, "I guess I was more tired than I though I was" he said finally. "We'll start the training in the morning then" he nodded to Hagernand and walked off.

Hagernand startet walking rather fast, catching up with Marcus "But you are right, though. It may be wiser to train during the night. To evade any interuptions from riots. But then again. Due to us having to babysit, I'm guessing at least the local police will be too exhausted to be any good at recieving any training."

He stopped, and looked at Marcus. "I'm sorry for acting so ignarant and arrogant. It's just. You know. The confederacy having such a falback it just. It has such a big effect on me - on everyone. I think now is the most important time to hold our heads cold."

Hagernand starting looking down on the ground. Then back up on Marcus' face. "If you want me to, I'll help you train those guys tonight. Hell I'll help you every night. As you said. This is what would usually take a whole year. We might just have to train them 30 hours a day. I'm in on whatever you choose"

Anna looked around, examining the security officers " were supposed to train these guys to fight of the zerg? they look more likely to shot themselves in the foot"

Marcus paused for a second. "No, tomorrow morning we'll meet up with Base and start training the recruits then. Training tonight might not be a good idea, we all need our rest and the recruits are liable to end up shooting each other in the dark, until we have trained them that is".

To connect with shotbyamonk's previous post all conversations I have from now is on the following day
The following morning Marcus woke to the sounds of yelling coming from outside. He peered out the tiny window to find that Base had already had an early start, he was up and about berating a bunch of greenhorns and commanding discipline from them. So it begins! Marcus thought to himself, a week of training rookies to fight like veteran soldiers. He quickly freshened himself up and put on the Hellhounds armor and grabbed his weapons and made for the door.

Marcus was making a final check on his rifle as he walked out of the compound, he was so intent on fiddling with his weapons that he almost walked into a recruit.

"Gah!" Marcus exclaimed as he abruptly stopped in front of a cadet. There were 15 recruits standing in a line in front of him. "what?" Marcus snapped. "We..uh we are the recruits sent by him" one of them said pointing to Base. "We are group B"

"Is that right?" Marcus interrupted. "Well listen group B, it's your lucky day. I am splitting you in to 3 more groups, to make this training go easier for everyone I am going to palm some of you off to my sharpshooter squad mates. Now I don't care how but I want you to arrange yourselves into 3 groups of 5 people. Go!" he ordered. The cadets shuffled around and soon Marcus was staring at 3 groups. "Perfect!, the 5 man team near me is going to be group Marcus. I will be your instructor. The next two groups will be group Anna and group Hagernand respectively. Your current job is to go find them. Move!"

The remaining two groups wandered off to find their instructors. Marcus turned to his group. "So how many of you have used a sniper rifle before?" he asked his group. Silence greeted him. "How many of you have been in a hostile encounter before?" he pressed. More silence greeted him. That's just great. Marcus buried his face in his hands. "Alright, well we have to start somewhere..stay right here don't budge!" he ordered his group and walked off to the armory, he emerged shortly carrying a heavy metal locker and laid it down in front of the rookies. "This" he said opening the locker and producing a sniper rifle, "is the legendary Terran BOSUN FN92 sniper rifle. It's usually only available to Ghosts but the Hellhounds have special privileges to it" he added with a smile as he handed one each to the recruits . "It fires primarily the standard Armor Piercing bullets, good for stopping anything short of a Zerg Ultralisk with one shot, but, it can also can fire the Supersonic Jacketless Slugs. It's a special bullet which explodes into several pellets before striking the target and is capable of wounding any personal standing near the target. The BOSUN FN92 can also fire anything from non lethal rubber bullets to tank armor melting high heat thermite rounds. It has a maximum effective range of 6,812m and takes only 3.1 seconds to reload the chamber. Mastering the subtleties of this gun will take years but you have a week and I'll be damned if you are not expert marksmen by the end of your training" he said turning to face the recruits.

"Now follow me to the firing range. Your training begins now!".

Hagernand was woken up by yelling from outside. He wloked out he window, and saw Marcus talking to 15 recruits.

He decided to go and gear up, so he could start the training of the recreuits. He went outside just to discover Marcus walk off with a group of five. "oi!" He shouted to Marcus "Is there any recruits left" he asked. When Marcus told him he had sent them off to look for him, Hagernand got slightly dissapointed "Great day this starts out as. Looking around for a bunch of kids". Hagernand went to see if he could get any clues to where the recruits could be. "Allright. I'll see ya Marcus. have fun with your kids"

When Hagernand finally found his recruits, he decided he would start off easy with learning them to move and shoot with their armour on. When they arrived at the armoury, he realized that they first had to be thaught how to put it on

"This oughta be fun" Hagernand thought to himself.

Boomer looked at his recruits. "Have you seen blood before?" he asked with a smile to the recruits. He was not going to scare the new recruits with horror stories of battlefield injuries or having to fight off the Zerg with a sidearm to get to a wounded squad member. At least not for now. An uneasy laughter erupted from the crowd in response to Boomers question. "Good then, I am here today to teach you how to stop the bleeding from an open wound" he opened his medkit to show the contents to the recruits.

"The critical thing about being a battlefield medic is getting to the patient ASAP, we don't want him to die from blood loss or to be incapacitated for too long while under fire. Now I don't know about you guys but if you have been shot..especially with the kinds of ammo we Hellhounds use which is highly lethal, it is going to be very painful to treat. The same goes for Zerg attacks. Those creatures have venom and acid tipped spikes that they hurl at you and are quite nasty. The primary concern will be to calm the patient down. If we slow his heart beat we can slow the blood flow and thus the blood loss. The med kit has an array of painkillers which we use to give temporary relief to the critically wounded. Once they calm down, the next thing is to diagnose the entry wounds and identify if the foreign object is still in the body or not. If it is still in you will have to remove it before we can proceed. I'll explain the procedure for that another day but for now we will assume that it is a clean wound and that we are now at the next step. The coagulation of the wounds".

Boomer tossed each of them a chemical coagulant pack. "I got a simulaid here" he said pointing to a dummy on the ground. "I have created a scenario where this patient is suffering from 4 gunshot wounds to the torso, I want you all to take turns in practicing the coagulation mixture and application step..you start now" he said pointing to a recruit and timing him.

Anna looked at her recruits tiredly, she didn't get much sleep, and it took most of her will to keep from yawning, finnaly she spoke up "alright, listen up, for the next week, your following the pecking order, at the bottom" motioning with her hands, "its you, then above that is the dirt, above still is the worms inside the dirt, followed by Zergling Shit, and then at the top, is me. Now, im going too explain to you all, the importance of a good side arm" she removed one of her pistols from its holsters. " this, is the K-45 Horstein, its illegal on 3 planets and only the most dirty gunmen will use it. Its ordance ranges from your stadard rounds, too AP bullets, and to my personal favorite, fragmentation rounds, capable of biting into your skin. if your shot with one of those, the bullets not coming out" she looked over the recruits, most were looking her in the eyes, pressed with fear, but some still were looking at her chest. she rolled her eyes " now, if we can all remeber were my eyes are for a moment, there are a cratefull of these in the armory. I want you to go in there, and bring em out here. Move" the recruits quickly and nervously shuffled off to the armor, she let out a sigh. it was going to be one hell of a week

Ross smirked at the Chiefs reaction and pretended to put more of his rubber ammo into his gun to hide his grin. He could no longer hold it in and began to laugh aloud. He turned and marched out of the room and shouted sorry at his departure.
"Sorry guys!" Laughed Ross and he began to laugh manically to himself.

Drake had a small group of green horns to play with, and he was going to show them a few things, that will probably come in handy.
?All right boy? Drake said
?Why are you not in armor? one of the recruits asked
?Don?t need it today, give you guy a fair chance and all?
?Fair chance at what?
?The hand to hand combat your gona have with me?
?First thing first? Drake continued, he pointed to the combat certified 12? inch knives he had for them. ?Everyone grab one of these pleas?
he then pointed to the wood dummies he had set up, ?Stabbing practice time, lets se what you got.?

After a Few hours of knife work and correction, Drake put them back in line.
?Now, you all get a chance to fight a hellhound hand to hand, and don?t worry about hurting me, go all out.?

Dis he thought was going to be fun, and a good stress release.

Good, everybody is covering a different aspect of combat, Chris thought while watching his squad train the officers. "I want you guys to rotate the recruits." He said to everyone. "I want each group of recruit to train with a new leader so they can learn as much as they can. Rotate every 4 hours."

"Yes sir!" Draine responded. He had helped unload the last crate of armor from the truck and had walked into Boomer's medic presentation. Even the presentation fascinated him. Draine didn't know how to heal people with a medical kit because he was so used to using his powers to repair damages. This information could come in handy. A loud crashing sound from the nearby storage room, got Draine's attention back. He quickly unholstered his pistol and moved towards the room.

When he opened the door, he saw that it was an officer who had accidentally knocked over a crate. "You alright there buddy?" he asked, helping the officer to his feet. "Erm..ya, I'm fine. Didn't think the crates were so heavy, I was supposed to move the first crate into the training area. You mind helping me?" he asked. "Sure, not a problem." Draine said, lifting the crate with the officer. "So how long have you been on the force for?" Draine asked. "Well...I'm the newbie. The police were desperate to find new recruits during all the civil unrest and my family needed money, so I signed up. I'm Ryan by the way." he said politely. "I'd offer a handshake but that seems unlikely right now." Ryan chuckled to himself.

Reaching the training area, the two settled down the crate nearby the training weapons and reported to Commander James (Chris). "Commander! We brought the new armor you requested earlier from Lieutenant Phillips!" Ryan said eagerly.

Base gets his recruits and walks to a table inside, "since all these guns are new to you, you will have to learn them inside out, starting with how to load them", he pulled the empty clip out of one of the assult rifles and shows them how to reload the clips and then reload the gun,"now thats done your gunna have to learn about cleaning your gun, this is importent, every time your get a break after you have fired your gun at least once u must clean your gun. you dont want you to be face to face with a zerg and then have your gun jam do you?"

A few hours pass and bass has taught them about gun safty care and control
