Worst game that I laughed at? Galleon for the old xbox. Definitely the worst game I've ever played on xbox.

Ninja Blade.

Its a bland QTE(Quick Time Event) fest. Hell, Quick Time Events are advertised on the back of the damn box.

Yet its just so damn fun its stupid. This game has no right being as fun as it is.

Also, Earth Defense Force 2017

So I played angry birds recently. I don't care what anyone else says, that game sucks. But it was rather funny once I thought about it. Throwing birds at a house filled with pigs... Uh, where was I? Right. It was lame because there are already 2 bagillion games exactly like it. So why does everybody like it? *shrugs* ei dunno? Its the pigs...
You know, I thought the same thing. I was playing a game that was a projectile based tank warfare game made for DOS back in '91 called Scorched Earth. Deeper and more options, but it's not silly like Angry Birds. I mean, Angry Birds is very polished, but.... it's not like playing it is equivalent to drinking the laughter of children out of a cup made from a unicorn's horn while riding a pegasus through a double rainbow.

As already said, Big Rigs. And FEAR 2. My friend and I beat it in day, and it was a good laugh.

Probably Crysis.

I dunno. I rarely find games that fit into that "so bad it's good" spot.

I rented 2 worlds at one point and the voice acting, menu (too small to fucking read, had to sit 5 cm away to make out a word), gameplay... generally everything sucked. I tried to give it a fair shot, but after 30 min I returned it and took something good in it's place. The voice acting was so horrible it actually made me feel embarrassed to be playing the damn thing. I know I started laughing and crying at the same time because it sucked so bad... I almost had a heart attack and thought the world just went psychotic when I heard that a sequel was coming out. It's a lot like sea water, it leaves an awful taste in your mouth and makes you feel like vomiting.

Pretty much it's like watching someone slip and fall, you know it hurts and it's funny.

God Hand. One of the few love it or hate it games out there.

Love the silly comedy.
Hate the overly masochistic combat.
Love kicking people into the horizon.
Hate the art and level design.

Truly God Hand was so bad it was good.

Also welcome to the Escapist. Too bad you joined this time of year, I reccomend you take two weeks off from March 14th.
God Hand was bad!? I love that game, the controls were pretty customisable, enemies looked interesting, combat was visceral and complex. Not to mention the bosses! So much fun!!! I call God Hand so good it's good.

On Topic: 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand. A boring samey shooter with nothing to recommend it except for hilarious dialogue and being able to take enemies into the "Fiddy zone" when melee attacking them (you are invulnerable and beat the crap out of them... or stab them full of holes...)

Oh and you can buy higher level swear words to taunt your enemies with for extra points.

Finally Fantasy X.

Anyway, so people don't think I'm trolling, I'm sorry but that game was shit. Blitzball was boring, the voice acting was terrible, and the summon battles were essential glorified pokemon battles. That and having no overworld map made exploration rather linear and took out my favourite part of RPGs.

Also your dad was a fish or something and at that point I gave up on the story making any sense.

I guess my point is I can usually forgive a game that is just terrible 90% of the way through. You can tell in the first 5 mins that it is just garbage and can lulz your way through. But a game that just gets a bunch of things wrong that would have otherwise made the game great? That makes me sad. A waste of potential.

Tropico 2. I would never recommend it to anyone but I like it for some retarded reason I can't explain. I think I like the idea behind it but it has TERRIBLE execution.

sonic unleashed, i loved the speed levels, or should i say one speed level because thats the only one i unlocked during my rental of it. those stupid night time levels sucked way too much.
It's like eating a delicious banana split, only to find out that the chocolate syrup was made of laxative.
The speed levels later on made those crappy night levels more than worth it. I seriously replay that game regularly just for the speed levels. Never touched the night levels again though. It's also a great game to impress your friends with, which is a hard thing for a sonic game to do these days.

Note that this guy apparently has no idea what light speed dash is and did everything the hard way.

I know this might make people angry, but Call of Duty Black Ops. I could not take the game seriously because it is so very ridiculous. Modern Warfare 2 was almost that level, but Black Ops takes the cake.
