That would be Mugen.rofltehcat said:What is that one fighting game called where people can design their own characters? I'd be surprised if there weren't already pretty good Hellsing characters to download. Of course some of them are ridiculous or badly done but there should be a database with rankings for the characters.
Played it once at a friend's and you could do stuff like Peter Griffin vs. Chuck Norris.
Yes, but some complaints I've seen for other fighting game series is that, as their roster have gotten bigger, each characters' play styles have become less individualised (e.g. DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3). I mean, the original Street Fighter II had eight characters, and even aside from how groundbreaking it was at the time, it's stil held up as one of the best fighting games.bartholen said:Wouldn't the character roster be kinda small though?
Jan and Integra could probably help out with Luke and Alucard's specials/finishers as well. Might make pretty good unlockable characters as well.Relish in Chaos said:Yes, but some complaints I've seen for other fighting game series is that, as their roster have gotten bigger, each characters' play styles have become less individualised (e.g. DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3). For playable characters, there'd probably be - at the very least - Alucard, Ceres, Integra, Walter (young and old; can count as two, if you like), Anderson, Heinkel, Yumie, the Captain, Rip van Winkle, Zorin, Alhambra, and Luke Valentine. That's at least 11; enough to play with.
or as anderson and fight alucard as a boss (throught i would imagine animating alucard in released form would be huge ammount of work that could still end up as bad animation) still i doubt we will see anything like this mainly because most animes/mangas start usualy producing games related to series while story is still going on and with hellsing main story is aready finished and hellsing never got the huge popularity that naruto/one piece/dragon ball etc got to rly get game developpers interested in series.Ratty said:Jan and Integra could probably help out with Luke and Alucard's specials/finishers as well. I think a spectacle fighter as Alucard might be a better fit though, though you'd really have to work in the control art restriction levels in a very noticeably game-y way. Since by the end of the story when his restrictions are fully relieved he's nigh on to a God. Hmm, maybe you could take over Seras or Integra at that point in the story.
Well, he has different "levels" (though I'd prefer "seals") for some of which he seems to require authorization to access them. So he could be both a normal character or a boss on steroids.balladbird said:With that roster, you'd probably need to nerf Alucard, or use him as the game's penultimate boss, since he's so high above the others that it's the only way to do him justice. XD
It could work if you used the more gun-heavy characters as zoners, you'd probably need to nerf The Captain's speed and make him a heavy type, with Yumi and Anderson as marios (jack-of-all-stats types) and Luke and Alhambra as fragile speedsters.
Yeah... the more I think of it, the more it could work.
If there's anything Skullgirls taught me, it's that a tight roster of fighters that play vastly differently can work. They have only 14 characters(one's a clone and doesn't count), and I'm sure I can dredge up nearly that many for this fighter.Dreiko said:UniB could use Alucard as a guest since they borrow chars from various other series. Hellsing has too few chars to make a fighter by itself though.
