So I think Alucard would be on pretty equal footing with the rest after those events. Heck, you could maybe even make a game around that. Alucard being weak, having to regain new familiars, and a new threat against London happens or something. Easy way to put in a level up/upgrade system of some kind. And you could then maybe unlock other characters like Ceras and Anderson to play with. Something like...Play Alucard, returning to demi-godhood as he goes through the game. Then at certain points you can unlock other characters. And then you can play with those characters through the same overarching story, but with different things happening to them.

Anyway, yea...big fan of the manga/OVA. I would love a spectacle fighter or even an action adventure with horror mixed in based on those two. But I doubt it will ever happen. =/
That sounds a bit like you describe Castlevania Lord of Shadow 2. At least from what I heard, haven't played it. Overall, the game sounds a bit meh. If the Hellsing game would be comparable to that, just without the "future" sections, it could be fun.

Melty Blood was a pretty good fighting game so I don't see why Hellsing couldn't be. But I never thought Hellsing has as much traction as Tsukihime had, especially after Melty Blood Visual novel so selling it would be uphill battle.

Huh, the Alucard from that game looks a lot like Hellsing's Alucard... Red coat, black hair...couldn't see the rest. But they're even supposed to represent the same person, as in Vlad Tepes. Only the attacks are different. And yea, I would love to see a game like that in the hellsing setting and with hellsing characters.

(spoilers about Hellsing's story.)
At the end of the manga Alucard is left with only his own soul. He can basically die like normal again, even if he's still a lot harder to kill than humans. And he doesn't have all of his armies inside of him any more either. He killed all of them.
Nope, sorry, that's wrong.

Alucard was left with only his own soul and Schrodinger's soul, after which he claimed that he is "everywhere and nowhere". This was referencing Schrodinger's power of omnipresence, as long as he can identify himself. If he thinks he can teleport, he can. If he thinks he can heal from any wound, he can. Heck, if he thinks he could just dive into Ceres Victoria's mind to talk to Zorin Blitz, he bloody can. So Alucard's still hax, just in a different way. The only way to 'erase' him from existence again would be to trick him, like the Major did, into drinking so many other people's blood that Schrodinger wouldn't be able to identify himself anymore within Alucard's mass of souls, but Alucard, despite his personality, would probably be more careful about that.

But yeah, I admit that a beat-em-up, a hack-and-slash, or something else like that (frankly, I don't know what a bloody spectacle fighter is; Bayonetta's 'Wikipedia' page says it's an action and hack-and-slash game, so I'll go with that, thank you very much) might work equally as good, or better.

It could be more of a "Super Smash Bros: Manga" deal where it would be all manga / anime characters. So you could have Ishida Uryuu (Bleach) vs Death the Kid (Soul Eater), Alucard in his Level 0 Release Form (Hellsing) vs Black Star with Tsubaki (Soul Eater), Ceres Victoria (Hellsing) vs Chi Chi (Dragonball) just to name a few
