since there isn't a real definition for what a hardcore gamer is, i dont think anyone can be sure if they fit into the hardcore gamer category or not. well, apart from whoever put that they played 168 hours in an average week. but somehow, i dont believe them.

Even though I play about 50 hour per week I put down casual gamer because I usually play games for fun and/or relaxation.

yeah it is. i'm mainly tyring to look into how the amount of hours people play relates to what forms of marketing they afe affected by. i'm also trying to look at how hours played does not relate to how 'hardcore' you are as a gamer, but rather the dedication you have to games and the types of games you play.

i would, but i have over 120 results now and it would take me ages to filter and analyse them to put them on here.

the best i can do (without compromising the results of future surveyors) is tell you percentages of answers to any of the questions asked. like around 60% bought games because they were sequels.
