Ok, I'm currently doing one of my semi-regular run throughs of both KotOR games. Since I'm at the end of the first one (and therefore, I'll soon move on to the second), I've decided to try to install the Restored Content mod. I've just downloaded it, and then realized that I have no fucking idea what to do from here. Help, please?

The restored content mod can only be used with the PC version of KotoR2.
Thank you, I know. I guess I should have specified: I'm a console gamer in general, which is why I don't know how to install mods, but I have some games for PC, including both KotORs.

Also, welcome to the Escapist!

Man I did mods on Kotor 2 so much last summer....

Must....remember....! FUCK

Aha! Got to your program files and find the kotor 2 folder, most likely under Lucas Arts. Then go in to it and make a new folder and name it "Override". Now download the mods, there should be readme's that say what to do. Normally though, you just copy paste the data into the override folder. But the Restored Content mod might come with an installer.

Ah, thank you for the response.

Well, now I feel embarrassed. I don't even know how to do the stuff you said, where are the program files?

This is tough because I recently got a new computer, which runs under W7 and not XP so it's a bit hard to recall. But I'm pretty sure program files are under your C drive, click on my computer, then there should be program files. I'll try and find the tutorial on youtube that I used to learn how....

If you're talking about this MOD then it has an installer so you should be just fine. Point it in the direction of your Kotor 2 installation and click 'next'.

Thank you so much. Followed that, and I hope it worked (didn't download TSL Patcher like he said though, do you think it's necessary?). Anyway, I'm tired now, I'll test it tomorrow and keep you posted. Thanks again.

I never did. But I do recommend enabling cheats, so you can actually get the clothing/other items you download.

No problem, there was some epic summer nostalgia involved in it for me, so it's all good.
