Borderlands is still one of my favorite co-op games to date. Also, to take it back a generation, Star Wars Battlefront.

Hunted: The Demon's Forge was a really great fun game. I really loved they style and everything in that game. I wasnt sure if I would like it at first, but after I got into it, it was amazing

Portal 2 co-op, Castle Crashers, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, Lord of the Rings: Conquest (Star Wars Battlefront in the LotR universe) and Halo: Reach/ODST's Firefight mode. Great local co-op. Also, Laura Croft and the Guardian of Light.
