I got Battlefield Bad Company 2 recently and I put it in and it looks terrible. I mean that like early PS2 bad ie a little blocky in some parts. I have it set up to an HD tv which can do 1080 p. The TV I think has a problem as there are white specks that fly across the screen pretty often. Even with the TV problem when I played GOW3 it looked really good. After I played Bad Company 2 single player for a little bit I tried GOW3 to see if it is the disc or the TV or something. I am not entirely sure but I thought that when I tried this GOW3 wasn't as good as it was before. I am talking like a week ago. Am I noticing problems I didn't see before? Am I causing my self to see flaws that aren't really there? I don't know. Maybe it's find and it's all in my mind or maybe it's not. I want your thoughts. If it helps I only played the beginning of the single player campaign of Bad Company 2.

Is this on the PS3?

Regardless, try a different HDMI cable/slot and turn off 1080p and just have 1080i and see if it fixes it (No visual difference in quality btw)

seriously, i don't know. i'm not an electronics guru or anything, but that doesn't sound normal. is it a plasma or LCD? if it's plasma, maybe your plasma is dying......
I don't know what kind of TV it is myself. I don't really know that much about TV's. Is that possible. We got it pretty cheap. I always that there was some issues with it. Could that be it?

I think you need to calm down, and accept the fact that your TV doesn't like BFBC2. Maybe it's for the best.

Calumon: No, it's not. Fix it.

Hey its an irritating small rodent... and Calumon. :D (Lol jokes)

OT: I would like to reinforce D Bones point to check the cords are connected well as I don't know how many times I have been called round by friends for a loose cable they had!

was there a power outage or anything that may have reset the ps3 and changed the settings? make sure it is set to the 1080i or 1080p setting. check to make sure all cables are properly connected. play thru some of the tv settings to make sure that isnt the issue either. i doubt it, but having sharpness or a combo of other things set strangely can cause some shitty effects

If it's a Xbox 360 you may have switched from HD to TV on the cable that is inserted in your Xbox 360
