help identifying a mini series

a few years ago i saw a mini series on tv, that had magical artifacts (a comb that stopes time,and a traveling train ticket) that come from a motel room i think it was room 303 and i remember a sun.
i know its not a lot of information but i will appreciate any help thanks.
