Help!! I'm wanting to get into a new RPG but can't seem to find a good one. I've beaten Oblivion, Fallout 3, New Vegas, and Mass Effect 2, so those are out. But I do want a game that features:
- karma/choice/moral system (I play thru twice, once good, once evil)
- open world roaming, before and after story mode is completed
- great character customization (gender, looks, outfits, etc.)
- good achievements, preferably offline

Any suggestions?? I've demo'd Divinity 2, it seemed decent, anyone know if its good or follows those criteria?

It's not free-roaming, but whatever... Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines is better than all of those games.

Morrowind. It's backwards compatible with the 360 and it's great without the mods, no matter what anyone says.

Heck, if you have a computer of any kind, good or bad performance, try the original Fallouts. They're a massive time sink and give a nice bit of background to New Vegas. £7 on Steam each.

There's also the Fable series. Like Morrowind, the original is backwards compatible so you can pick up the first two pre-owned and then play the third and get the whole story.

I noticed Fable 3, but i forgot to mention this is for 360.
Ah, young grasshopper. Anyone worth their salt will have checked your profile to see if you had added in your XBOX LIVE gamertag, Steam account or PSN username.

You could also try Mass Effect if you enjoyed the second one. It isn't exactly what you described as there isn't a great deal of choice with clothing and there isn't an open end, but it's still worth a shot. If you have the money pick up all the suggested pre-owned and have the time of your life. It's something of questionable morals but who cares when you're playing a game that you picked up for a fiver.

Fallout: New Vegas, I suppose.
Reread the OP(original post).

I would probably say Dragon Age and KotOR(Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic), Bioware seems to make the types of games you're looking for.

Though mostly already mentioned, for the 360 the Fable 2 and 3, Dragon Age: Origins, Dragon Age 2(In 2 weeks), and the first Mass Effect are the only rpg's that you haven't listed and fit your criteria. As well as original Xbox games that are compatible: Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2, and the first Fable.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is pretty different from what you described, but its such a damn awesome game anyway.

You'd lose nothing by giving it a look.

I can't suggest any other games that fall under your unique specifications. I can suggest RPGs that are very good but not with the features you desire:

-knights of the old republic I and II
-Deus Ex
-Lost Odyssey
-Torchlight
-Diablo II
-Bioshock
-Persona series
-DragonAge

and that's just a few. Open your mind and you'll enjoy these.

You're severely limiting your options with your criteria as those are generally newer things that are being tried out in rpg's, and things that are pretty much unheard of from jrpg's (which take up a vast majority of the rpg index) I'm typically biased towards most games made by square enix (their main series is final fantasy but they have quite a few others) and honestly if you feel like finding a ps2 I'd suggest xenosaga 1-3 above anything else.

Good sir why might'n you play games that are all similar? Mayhap you should go to Good Old Games and find anything that runs on the Infinity Engine.

This, and only this. Also there is no kotor 2 and especially any idiotic MMORPG.

I second that. Loved KOTOR I&II.

You played Mass Effect 2 what about the first?
Oh and Dragon Age Origins!!
How could you say that? Kotor 2 was a huge letdown! Don't you remember the ending?
