So, I'm an indecisive bastard. I wanna play Skyrim, but I've got 4 prototypical characters. Who do I use?

Milos, Argonian, Hunter
Black Scales, Green Highlights, Green Slitted Eyes, Green Feathers, Long Horns.

Archery, Light Armor, Alchemy, One Handed (only a dagger, for emergencies)

Follower: Kharjo

Agronak gro-Ghorak, Orc, Ex-Bandit Chief
Pale Green Skin, scars, dull red eyes, he uses a shield and sword.

One Handed, Heavy Armor, Block, Smithing (Orcish and Steel Plate is the max)

Follower: Ghorbash the Iron Hand

Corvus Lanius, Imperial, Spellsword
Bright green eyes, tightly cropped beard and hair.

One Handed, Heavy Armor, Restoration, and Conjuration

Follower: Erik the Slayer

Ajira, Khajiit, Thief
Gold Eyes, Grey-Black fur, no mane.

Light Armor, One Handed, Pickpocket, Sneak

One Dagger but she will fall back on her Rawlith Khaj

The character will be DiD, Adept, no fast travel.

Why not all, and see what you enjoy most.
Personally, I enjoy my ranger-like build. after spending so much time with a pure mage.

Make an assassin/destruction mage. Sneak through the game slitting all throats in sight and when the shit hits the fan, bust out the burning/freezing/shocking hands.

Go in hands blazing. I like that.

As for picking one of those 4 - Ajira. Because Khajiit, end of discussion. I friggin' love the kitties.

:p That's pretty much all I did on my playthrough of Skyrim (still haven't started up a 2nd character). Sneak kill everything I can and when I get spotted, make the enemy say "Ah-HA! I got you you milk-drinkohgod my face is melting!!!"

Choose the one with the specialized skills that you don't do well in. Opposites attract.

I'd go with the first option.

My character is Budal Madraven an albino Wood Elf assassin and soul-smith who has embraced lycanthropy. I increased One-Handed, Archery, Sneak, Light Armor, and Enchanting. It's worked out pretty well and it's the only character I continue to play.

I do this, and trust me, you're going to either want a shield or to dual-wield daggers because there is no way in hell you can get by with mostly archery. In small spaces and against multiple enemies it is a horrible idea, and the most damage you will do to dragons will always be when you get them to land so you can fight face to face. I went in with the full intention of doing mostly archery, but I mostly do daggers because archery is extremely slow and clumsy unless you are doing sneak attacks or attacking ONE enemy from long range.

Also, if you ever gain the spell Transmute, DON'T SELL IT. Use it. Transmute turns iron ore into silver ore, and then silver ore into gold ore. Extremely handy, it's like printing money. And it's a great way to generate a lot of gold quickly and cheaply to level up smithing.
