So, I've been trying to remember the name of a cartoon from my childhood for weeks now, but no avail. It's driving me nuts- I remember loads of details about it, but not one name which could help me find it online. I was wondering if anyone here saw it.
I saw the cartoon in the early-to-mid 2000s. It could've been made any time before that, since Israel is notorious for broadcasting ancient cartoons. It might've been on Nickelodeon, CN, or any other station, I can't remmeber.
The plot:
It involved cavemen. The main character was a redhead teenage boy (around the age of 13) with poor and whiny parents. The chief was big, and stupid, and the shaman (who wore a wolf's skin) would constantly try ot manipulate him. The chief's wife was a snobbish, greedy *****, and his daughter had a massive crush on the redhead boy. Every episode involved the boy spouting some modern idea (democracy, football, taxes) which he had just invented, and hilarity ensued as the system obviously wasn't compatible with caveman society. He was a forward-thinking idealist, but very scrawny.
Other characters included two big hairy lugs who were all brawn and no brain, and a blond pretty boy who appeared to be strong and brave but was in fact a giant pussy. The villiage was centered around a large tree, the chief lived in a mound, the shaman lived in a house by the river, and the boy lived in a cave with his parents. That's pretty much all the details I remmeber about this show.
So, has anyone else seen this show, and do they remember its name? It's driving me crazy.
