Hey guys! I recently bought a laptop (Samsung ATIV Book 4), and I'm searching for good games to buy for it. I already have Dark Souls: Prepare to Die edition and Saints Row IV which are games with good character customization. The thing is, I really like games that let me create most (if not all) of the characters in my party in order to get myself more immersed in the game.

Do you know of any game with good character customization? Preferably where I can create many characters to play as. I don't play MMOs so they don't really count on this topic but if you have a game you can recommend then I would be very grateful with you guys.

Saints Row 2 actually has better customization than its successors, especially with the Gentlemen of the Row mod collection.

Thanks! Though I already played SR 2... Is there a game -besides the sims- that is not an MMO where I can customize my characters similarly?

Whatever, just wash your hands.
Guild Wars 2 has some good customization, its mmo but no monthly fee.
The elder scrolls games, like Skyrim have a lot of character customization.
Divinity II dragon knight has good character customization.
I know there are more but for the life of me, I can think of any right now.

Star Trek Online. Create your own race...

Then the uniform...

Then the ship...

Then the Bridge Officers (Yes, custom NPCs...)

Etc Etc. Yeah, its an MMO, but its Free (Even the stuff behind paywalls can be obtained in game, it just takes time)

I know you said you didn't play MMOs, but I can't talk about character customization without mentioning Champions Online. It's absolutely mind-blowing how good the character creator is.

It's not that I don't play MMOs because I can't afford the monthly fee, it's just because my internet sucks. I would love to try Guild Wars as I've only heard wonders about it, but sadly, I would not last more than 15 minutes without being disconnected.

I'll try Divinity II though, it sounds like fun.

I played Champions Online back in the day when my internet wasn't crappy as freak, I would spend HOURS just creating the characters just to watch them in action. Truly an awesome game.
