okay, the credit card thing wont work because I dont have my wallet. I'm almost out of here, I just need some kind of leverage to lift the frame out of the hinge brackets, but from this side.

try a wooden chair against any nooks on the doors surface.

Are you alone? do you have a mobile phone with trust worthey contacts?

Does the wall by the rooms wndow have any props? for example. drainpipes, rain shelters? how long is the drop? how far away is the next window, is it within reaching distance?

Do you have an irrational fear of doors?

The little latch that catches is broken then. Basically, if you can, try to hit the hinges with something to push them up and out, and pull the door off if you can. Or go out a window, and open it from the other side a different way at some point, just to get it open. Either should work.

Edit- Or use a screw driver to get the knob off there, and work your way out like that.

Also good, except I'm on the second story and I don't have a screwdriver handy.

Unless the building is exceptionally huge, the second story drop isn't as bad as you think. Just hang on the ledge by your hands, with your full body out the window, and under the window seal, and just drop like that. I've done it before. Like I said, as long as it's not some really huge drop, which I really doubt it is, you'll land on your feet and be fine.
