Help me understand the [Prototype] Story, WARNING FOR THOSE NOT FINISHED THE GAME DO NOT PASS

Im bad at picking up subtle hints in games, and Im confused bout the Specialist, who was he? The final boss fight where he takes the form of the Supreme hunter left me and a couple of my friends under different impressions,

Some believe that he is the son of Elizabeth green, thats why he is so good a pwning infected things and Alex, None of us have completed the web (My problem is that I accidently hit the throw button instead of consume button and watch the precious memories splatter them self on a wall,)

I believe that he is the Supreme hunter, there is that cut scene where the supreme hunter is comming back to life, and one where through the eyes of a infected (I assumed the Supreme hunter) going after the Specialist, to which the Supreme hunter totally PWNED the Specialist and ate him and took his form to take his revenge on Alex......

What is it can someone give me some clarity on this topic?

As far as the web has showed he is Greene's son. Or he was a test, since "Alex" was the only male runner, and has become infected by the virus and uses it to hopefully take over.

Actually, no. Greene's son is still out there somewhere, and has only been mentioned, not seen in the game. Codename PARIAH is the natural thing of what Alex is artificially. PARIAH has all the abilities Alex has but was born that way, showing no signs of the virus. When Alex released the virus and got killed by Blackwatch, the virus took over his body, giving him his powers. After the first fight with the Supreme Hunter Alex stepped in a puddle of it's blood, and since he's got that wacky virus crap on him the blood regenerated the Supreme Hunter, where it set out to destroy Alex. It consumed Specialist Cross and disguised as him so it could get close to Alex, and tried to consume him too.However, Alex just kicked it's ass by spamming Whipfist Special attack, Critical Pain Devastator and throwing missiles at it with Musclemass. ^^

So true, so true, I loved using missiles as javalines to nail that thing. And whipfist right click attack is the turtle speed way to safely kill any enemy

as for PARIAH i think it's still out there and still on the loose and knowing Activision it will be in one of the 15 sequels they make of the game

Why would you think that PARIAH, the highly dangerous son of Elizabeth Greene would be allowed to get to a high rank in the military that he's right next to Taggart(? Forgot his name, the guy with one arm though, I think it was Randall) Now you'll obviously say well he consumed people and disguised himself to get there but he'd have to have gone through Bloodtox/Viral Scanners to stand beside the commander himself. He is not Greene's son.

Wikipedia does a good job of explaining it. It makes me glad I didn't buy this game.

He could be green's son still because Green's son didnt have any trace of the virus in him so the Bloodtox Scanners wouldnt effect him I mean Alex mercer became almost Immune to the Blood Tox..so yeah..

the specialist was consumed by the supreme hunter much like you can consume people and basically just stayed in his body to trap you
