i need more memory on my laptop for you know shit, and i was thinking of adding a internal hard drive i looked around and was wondering would http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/prods/components/harddrives-internal/sata500gbto1tb/Seagate/ST3500418AS.html that do for a aptop so old it still prides itself on running XP
Its an old advent model please help

External is such an easier way to get memory.

Yeah. The big glowing problem is that you need to open your laptop up in order to detemine what type works with your laptop. And then, you'll have to hope that there's enough room for a second drive, or even if it's able to fit inside the case (I am pretty confident that the hard drive you've selected would be too big for the space in your hard drive). It will probably be far less hassle just getting an external hard drive (or a hard drive enclosure e.g. this one [http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/prods/components/harddrives-external/harddriveenclosures/EXT3-SU-HL.html] and that internal hard drive).

i'll probs go with the external hard drive seems more logical and less pricey
