Help!! Name of the Game?

I search the name af an old 2D shooter I spend countles hours on many years ago.
Things that help identifying this one:
Some Weapons:
-A Gun that shots a flame and when pointed down made you fly
-main weapon is a gun that shoots one bullet but can get upgradet to shoot three.
-Rocket launcher

Some Levels:
-Starting in a Prison
-A robot factory (lots of conveyor belts)
-Battlefield
-A lava river (flying was importand)
-Dark level with a lot of Chains

Some Enemys:
-Spiders that hugs your face, you have to schake pressing left-right countinuasly
-The final boss is flying in a small spacecraft from left to right while you hang on a chin and shoot him
-A mutated something that throws with its own eys...


I hope somebody has played this one and can help

Sounds a bit like Robocop on Gameboy. I never got that far though so it may not be.

Abuse 2?, where you point with the mouse?, that fucking rocked.

No Mouse was involved and it was a very old pc (dos i guess) game. The player was a Dude and to get a good score you had to collect blue glasballs.
I spend some time googeling for it but you guys are my last hope to find it.

For some reasons, I'm thinking Daxter, but thats 3D.

Yea!
Thanks to every differend suggestion but it was the crowd with duke nukem 2 that hit the nails head.
This outcome is rather embarasing for me since this is such a well known name but on the other hand the series is mainly associated with 3d.
Question is why they didn't include the jetgun in more games.

Now just a little bonus question: Is there a legal or a semilegal(abandonware) way to get this game or is it gone? I could use some 2d mayham after all those hours of l4d
