Help! Need satellite internet

I live 12 miles out of town and can't get dsl or cable, my current internet is just a verizon 4g hotspot but it is in no way good enough to game on or even stream netflix through. I tried hueghes net and it was terrible. does anyone know of a satellite internet company with good enough speeds to game on? Or am I a doomed gamer living in the boonies?

Speed isn't really the problem. Satellite offers the possibility of blisteringly fast download speeds, which is great for downloading stuff, or streaming movies.

The problem it has is high latency (or ping). This is due to the large distances involved and make playing something like an FPS problematic at best. I've known people who've played MMOs via satellite, and while it's less than ideal for that, the latency isn't as much of a problem as with a twitch action game.
