That's what you get for using Windows...
How does that even make sense? A blue Screen is just a way for windows to inform you there is a problem.

You really have no idea what you're talking about, do you?
That problem was more then likely caused by Windows shitting itself inside out.

Again, BSOD is how Windows informs you of a hardware failure. Do you want to continue showing off how little you know about computers?

Yes I do... No I don't.
But will always blame Windows for every computer malfunction even if it runs Mac OS or Linux.

first of all, its not called blue screen of death, its simply called a Bluescreen, its not even near RROD, so stop naming it after it, Bluescreens have been here for waaaaay longer then xbox 360 has, so please, PLEASE, stop calling it blue screen of death.

Second of all, try formatting your computer and reinstall windows from scratch, that usually gets it done

If you need to reformat your PC just to 'fix' the problem, then I think it's only reasonable to describe the fault as terminal, hence BSoD.

However, BSoDs can often be easily rectified. They can result from a large range of faults, both hardware malfunctions and software errors, from bad/old/corrupted drivers to a totally shagged HDD, where the data is partially/completely corrupted, again either through the hardware failing (eg. bad sectors/ damage to the actual physical surface of the harddrive's disk platter) or the data is corrupted through a bad write (eg the PC is powercycled while writing to the disk).

Please, there's a lot of people spouting-off on this thread who don't really know what's what when it comes to repairing a PC. Sorry, this isn't an attack on the people here, it's just an attempt to expose a little dangerous ignorance that is turning this thread somewhat nasty. The_Tramp was only looking for a little assistance, not a Linux/Windows snipe or a technical reevaluation of an accepted technical term. If you can't say anything nice an all...
