All of the sites I visit are from America? No comment. And what's that about 100 links? I don't get what you mean. Are you saying I should listen to you or else you are going to crash The Escapist website?Tufty94 said:Yeh, but I'm guessing all of the sites you visit are from America. I could post 100 links to torrents and get this site shut down. Maybe you should consider that before attempting to be a fucking smart arse.diebane said:Facebook being shut down? Sign my ass up!
Ohhh...well...
In all seriousness, I'm not from the USA plus I'm all out of fucks to give. Sorry?
wait, non-Americans can't view websites that I can? wtf, why is that?Ruwrak said:Internet is public domain innit?
Who -owns- the net anyway?
I sincerly doubt this passes. You know. Right of free speech and all that.
Would be hypocrit to censor things like Facebook and suches.
Then again, I am not in the US of A and most american websites are not viewable from 'outside'.
So meh at that. Keep building walls.
It depends. Do you have a white, unmarked van, the ability to use a wire to move from rooftop to rooftop at 1000ft, and a strong grasp on the Russian language? If so, then maybe there is something you can do.Daffy F said:I'm against this bill, but I'm not american, can I do anything?

No, I wasn't making a threat, but if this bill passes I could. And YouTube would be instantly fucked with the amount of copyrighted content on it. You should also check the IP's of your websites and see how many of them are hosted on servers located in America. Tumblr and Facebook were both examples, when pretty much anything that is "web 2.0" is at risk.diebane said:All of the sites I visit are from America? No comment. And what's that about 100 links? You said Tumblr and Facebook. I don't give a shit about those. The only websites located in the USA I frequently visit are Youtube and The Escapist Magazine (not too sure about the latter, does anyone know better?), you mentioned neither, so I figure they're not in danger.
I really don't care too much, sue me.
