HELP! Stuck in skyrim......

Im currently doing the "Darkness Returns" quest for the thieves guild, and im in a room with two of those ghost fellas, and a door leading to a room with a bottomless pit. Its just after ythe statue bit.

WTF do I do?

Stick to the dark patches in the main room, and fall down the well at the end.

That's what the wiki says...

Ive gone past that bit: im on the third "trial".
