Hey guys!
This has been driving me crazy for a while now... Back when I was a kid I played this one point and click adventure game. I vaguely remember it being fun, so I decided to give it another go one night. But I can't for the life of me remember what it was called nor indeed much more than these few points:
* It was cartoony and very colorful. Graphics were on par with Toonstruck. I don't remember it being as pixely as Sam & Max Hit the Road or Day of the Tentacle.
* Pretty sure there were mushrooms. Possibly big ones.
* It was set in a fantasy medieval setting.
* You played a blonde-haired (I think) disney-prince looking fellow.
* The main antagonist was a witch.
* Said witch was revealed to be said prince's nanny (or something to the effect) during the last scene.
* You could fail in at the very least the last scene, where you'd be zapped by the witch and possibly turned into a frog.

So... Anyone got any ideas?

Edit: Oh, and I'm convinced it isn't a Lucasarts game. My gut tells me Sierra, but I haven't found any reference to it in their catalogue, despite fervent googling.

Sorry, can't help. Sounds like a bad version of Monkey Island though. Good luck and welcome to the Escapist what have you been doing for a year and a half? That's some fearsome lurking!

I don't know either. Only thing I can think of would be Simon the Sorcerer, but I doubt that's what you're looking for.

Torin's Passage

It's not a very good adventure game, though. There are better nostalgic ones out there. :)

Well I'll be a monkey's uncle! That's the one! Thanks buddy, weight off my chest =D

And indeed, I've decided to dig out Toonstruck when I get home. Replayed Sam & Max and DOTT to the point where every quip and puzzle is firmly lodged in my mind, so going for fringe nostalgia for a bit ^^

Happy to help. I'm not sure how hard core an adventure gamer you are, so I'll list a few others you should have played. If you haven't, find them.

Full Throttle
Grim Fandango
Freddy Pharkas (same designer as Torin's passage, but better game)
Gabriel Knight Sins of the Fathers
Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis
