I'm attempting to build a computer and have absolutely ZERO experience doing so but I'm pretty tech savvy. I was just wondering if these parts were strong enough to run some of the newer games on the higher settings. I don't need to play Crysis on mega maxed settings, just games like L4D, TF2, COD WAW, or things of that level. The customer reviews on newegg made me pretty confident about it, but I'm not sure if they're overclocking or something else I'm oblivious to and it would be nice to have direct feedback

Even with a high spec computer some games still do struggle to run on the highest setting with some new games. I suggest looking around places for good prices and ways to customise your computer. Try talking to people you know about how to build it and what parts are good to get. Im thinking about doing this in September when i get enough money to do this. My friend has put so much money into his computer and hes just spoken to people about it and looked around. Just ask around for advice and youl soon know what you want.

Just build it up gradually over time and talk to poeple who know what there on about who can help. Also look at the information on the games because these tell you whats needed to run the games. So then youl get a basic idea of what you want.

Sorry if this hasnt been much help.
