Help with DS decision

Original DS is bulkier and the pixels in the top screen like to die for no reason till you can't see anything.
Lite is smaller, but the hinges between the top and bottom screen like to crack.
i is like a lite but made of sturdier materials. Shoulder buttons like to die more than the others.
Don't know about iXL.
The older they get the cheaper they get.
i and iXL don't have GBA slots so if you want to transfer your pokeymanns from the older games that isn't an option.

As nearly everyone in this has said, the LITE is definitely the one to go for, lighter (funnily enough), nicer looking and better screen = much better handheld.
Also invaluable if your planning on taking it on distance journeys, as its a lot easier to carry and people wont laugh at you.

I'm on the lite version. I loved the feeling of getting out that big DS and messing with it, but seriously the best version is the Lite. It doesn't look like you've goit a Star Wars tech thing with you, but it is better.
