I'm sure you are all more than sick of reading Skyrim related topics here by now but i need a little help with my enchanting. I love RPG's but im not really good when it comes to the stat-crunching mathematics behind it all.

So i was wondering, if my light armor skill has been maxed out (100), and i wear the mask of Krosis (which increases light armor by 20%) as well as enchant the armor to increase the light armor skill by 'x' points, do the stats accumulate? I mean will wearing these items actually increase my armor skill further or is 100 the max?

I've yet to get a stat past 60, let alone 100.
Try saving, enchanting and then check your perks to see where the skill is at. If it doesn't change, reload.

Probably, As when i play on hardest with 500+ armorating stuff can still do almost full hp dmg.

However Weapon damage seems to be hardcapped around 240 dmg, cant seem to get more, Just shows up a error "character too powerful" when i drink a + to 2hand dmg potion. May be because its level related tho, around lvl 37 atm.

I think you might be able to get beyond level 100 in skills. I've gotten 100 in smithing, and when I create new armor it adds to the skill bar (though I have yet to advance it enough to get to a new level). Also, I use Krosis as well, and cannot upgrade it to its highest quality at my current skill level. That probably means there are more levels to obtain.

As for protection, there is a cap on the amount of armor you can have. I'm not sure what it is, but it does exist and, presumably, scales with your level.

Bear in mind that there is an armor cap however. It around 650ish, so if you are getting colse to that number don't bother pushing it any further.

Well you need the point in the smithing perk to make something legendary; I also have 100 smithing but it just has a full bar pushed up to 101 but no level up. I guess that you can't make it legendary because the is no point for this mask of Krosis (I haven't gotten this so can't be sure)

Krosis is a quest item (so make sure you hold onto it) and can't be upgraded unfortunately. And its true that after reachin level 100 with any skill the xp will still fill up for a time, but once it is full its full, you won't go past the 100 mark.

You can't train skills higher than 100, but buffs that push them above 100 work just like you'd expect. Yes, your armor will be increased further if you buff Light Armor past 100.
Thanks, i kinda thought they would but i wasn't certain. :D

How is that a quest item? I just ran into the bastard on a mountain an took his hat. At any rate, I do have a Krosis(Flawless) on my head right now. And when I try to upgrade it, it complains that "My skill is too low for the required upgrade".

Really? My smithing skill is max and i haven't been able to upgrade the mask at all.

*spoiler alert* There are 8 of these masks. You get each from killing a particular dragon priest at dragon alters throughout the game. Bring them all to a Labryinth and you unlock a ninth mask. It should be on the skyrim wiki if you want to check it out. Just thought i'd let ya know in becuase some people have sold them without realising their use.

I got my character to have 100 2h weapons, 100 smithing and 100 enchanting. Then I enchanted some clothing and jewelry with smithing bonus then drank a smithing potion to get 150% better smithing upgrades. Upgraded a daedric warhammer, then enchanted my also heavily upgraded armour with many 25% two handed weapon damage bonus enchants and now My warhammer does 401 damage.

Needless to say the game is now broken and almost nothing can stand up to my power attacks. I even killed a dragon in one hit.

In answer to your question, Yes.
