Help with X-Box Wireless Adapter

I just bought a wireless adapter for my x-box and after putting it in my x-box still won't connect to the INTERNET ive contacted customer service and tried a ton of different option does anybody have any advice to fix my issue?

Just to be sure, you did enter in your wireless network information into your xbox right?

You could also try rebooting your modem, then trying again.

This may seem like a dumb question, but you do have a wireless router, right?

All the IP adress stuff and shiz have to be aligned to your router. X box should do it automatically, if it can detect the internet.
Out of range maybe? It's not actually a very good bit of kit.

Yeah you do know you need a wireless router for your adapter to connect to right? Do you have any laptops or anything in the house? Find out what network they are connected to and set your xbox up to connect to that network. Or better yet connect your xbox to the laptop and use that as an adapter like I do.

you have to go to the wireless networking tab on the Xbox (under system settings > network) and enter your wifi password (same password your computer will use to get on the network)
