Hep me find a game I'm looking for?

Hey there, Escapists. Can you guys do me a quick favour?
I really liked the naval combat missions in Assassin's Creed III, and thought they were a great addition, and I'm looking for a game that focuses entirely on that. A colonial naval game. I don't know of any that exist, so I'm reaching out to the most video game-learned people I know. Cheers in advance.

So you want naval combat huh?

The pirates of the carribean game on PC may be what you are looking for. It's an RPG where basically I ignored the story line and just tossed about getting a fleet up and running.

You can customize yourself and your crew, board ships to add to your fleet and sell what loot you get. Yes there is things you do on the islands such as trading, exploring caves etc and combat. The naval combat is great, you could just abandon boarding and sink enemy ships with your cannons instead. Oh plus the weather can turn on you while travelling (Surviving lightning storms is a *****). All over the map are pirate ships and ships from other nations such as the french or whoever you decide to piss off basically.

Overall awesome game and I would recommend it to anyone really. Only bad I can think of is the controls which take some getting used to. Have a look here :3

i also think the best game is pirates of Caribbean, plus there is a HUGE mod (2 gig ) for this game, it is developed with actual sailors who learned programming just to make the game more realistic .

edit: actually assassin creed naval combat is a complete joke in comparison with potc, however be ready for a real thing its very hard to sail the damn thing

I have to agree with everyone else, pirates of the Caribbean is an amazing game for sailing and naval combat (Theres also A nice exploit to make the game easier)

When you take money from the lender put it in a chest then ask for more rinse and repeat and he never followss up on your loans

also I don't recommend doing all that much of the story as I don't remember it being any good the sailing and naval combat is awesome though
