"Here": A survival-horror RP

"It has an aim." Samantha thought to herself ?clearly this man isn?t as educated as I am, but then again few are.?

Samantha stood up and walked over to the man.

?Ok here?s what I know. Clearly we are in a mansion, and going off the style of the few rooms I?ve been in I would say that it?s a Victorian themed mansion. Now most Victorian styled mansions are in an ?L? shape. So if my guess is right, the entrance should be facing east so that the bedrooms above the entrence can catch the morning light. The downside to all that is that I have yet to see anything resembling an window so we have no means of orienteering ourselves out of here until we do?

Samantha said in a single sweep leaving Dan speechless.

Joshua was dreaming. He was dreaming about that day at the cabin. The day where everything went wrong.
*scene shift to cabin*
"Dad?" a younger Joshua asked.
"Mmm?" grunted his father, Eric Miller. "What is it Josh?"
"Well," Joshua said nervously. " Do you think once we're done here, we could visit mom..?"
Eric just stared at him.
"We can't do that son," he replied simply, with a look of indifference on his face.
"Why not?!" Joshua asked in an indignant voice.
"You know very well why," his voice taking on an angrier tone. "Your mother's a whore. The ***** cheated on me. Apparently, I wasn't "good enough" for that slut."
"Well, maybe if you didn't drink so much, she wouldn't have gone and done that!" shouted Joshua.
"What?! You're blaming me for this?!" Eric shouted back.
"OF COURSE I AM!" Joshua screamed. "If it weren't for you, she'd still be with us, if you didn't smash a bottle over her head, we wouldn't be living such shitty lives!!"
Eric snapped and picked his son up by the throat.
"You shut your mouth you 'lil bastard.," he said in a voice that was between a shout and a whisper. "You shut your little pansy-ass mouth right now! I never asked for this bullshit! I never asked for kids! All you are, is nothing but trouble!"
Joshua spat in his face, and in-turn, Eric threw Joshua at a wall.
Joshua hit the wall head first, and landing in a crumpled heap on the floor. Joshua began clutching his head in agony, a huge gash bordering the top of his head.
Eric looked in horror.
"O-oh my God Josh!" Eric ran over to his son's side. "I'm sorry! I didn't mean it! I-"
"Get AWAY FROM ME!" Joshua screamed.
Joshua shoved him out of the way and began running outside. "Stay away you bastard!" Joshua shouted while retreating away from the cabin.
*scene shift to Crimson room*
"STAY AWAY!!!" Joshua cried as he bolted upright.

Joshua began lookin around the room.
"Uhgghh...what? Where am I?"
Joshua's vision was foggy, he couldn't tell where he was. The only thing he noticed was a woman's figure standing right by him.
"M-mom?"

By speechless I mean flabbergasted nothing more, sorry if you feel I was controlling your character. Also the entire first line of dialog in Samantha's head, so apparently your character is a psychic Lol.

"Well then it's as Einstein said 'a lazy mind leads to bad thinking. Now, I think we have better maters to deal with right now." Samantha said eying the man that had just awoken on the floor.

Samantha walker over to the man that had just started to wake up.
"You OK there?" she asked.

Dan walked over to the guy on the floor. "Hey." he said.

"Great he?s delusional" Samantha thought

"No I?m not your mother. My name is Samantha I'm a member of the CIA. Do you know where you are?" Samantha asked.

"Dan crouched down aswell. You're in a freaky mansion." He said, grinning.

Joshua pushed himself up and wiped his eyes. He looked again. It wasn't his mother. Just some woman.
"Name's Joshua Miller, and no, I don't know where I am." Joshua replied. "I was already attacked by some black thing."

Joshua looked at the officer.
"Hey Freeman," Joshua said. "Nice to see your awake."

"It wasnt by chance a large man was it?" Samantha saked

Dan fell back. "WHAT? HOW THE HELL DO YOU KNOW MY NAME?" He said.

"No. Far from it." Joshua replied. "This creature. This hideous black creature with clawed hand and feet. It had no face, all it had was two glowing eyes." Joshua then clutched his shoulder in pain. "The bastard clawed ay my arm."

"Relax Freeman," Joshua replied. "You just fell outta that door over there."
Joshua pointed at the door that had the letter of his first name and his full last name on it.

"Now that is strange" Samantha said.
