Dan grunted, remembering. "yes. It was me. I don't want to go into ot anymore. Sorry for pestering you."
Simon still didn't really believe Dan, but tried to make it sound like it. "Thanks for that, then... And it's alright... I guess."
"Well, because you have no evidence and there are tens of thousands of cops across the United States. And I don't know why you'd lie, I just don't see any reason why I should believe you."
Dan sighed. He didn't care really. He just dropped the subject, knowing he was right. He pulled out his torch and played with it.
"Look, I'm not saying there's not a possibility that it WAS you. Judging by the fact that I was born with this "Mythological" genetic disease that people think doesn't exist, I'd say there's a better chance that you were that cop than there is a single other person like me on this entire planet."
"Yeah, I guess... If he's actually the cop that saved my life, I owe him my life." Simon said. He got up off his bed. "So! what should we do now?"
We need to get going again.
"There was a reason for that..." Simon said, not forgetting what Dan tried to do. "But it's in the past, who cares now... Should we go look around this place some more?"
Johnathan woke up after having a rare few hours of good sleep, probably due to the fact that he had an ACR and Desert Eagle next to him, and a Barret 50.cal in his footlocker. He heard Samantha say "You two go off and bond. I'll stay here and hold down the fort". "What's going on?"
